As long as he keeps to talking about snuff I have no doubt all will be well. I think his opinions on other matters are rather too rigid. Good luck to him.
IMO , he can share his opinions. Trying to moderate other people’s (different) opinions was the problem!

Oh, I didn’t know about anything like that, from anyone! He would always whisper to me, saying my little joke / comments where inappropriate. I assumed he was ultra religious and thought a joke with a little "sexual innuendo’ was not appropriate for this “family” forum. Racist or homophobic comments are unacceptable ALWAYS, of course. OT: I’ve always wondered, how do you make your icon flash?

As for poor Snuffbox, please don’t feel I have anything against the bloke. I’m sure he’s alright really. My only problems, apart from the whole moderation/censorship thing, were a statement that he made earlier in this thread and that he’d been “moded” himself at some point for a racist comment. That fact was on the moderators duties thread. I guess my social work background makes me sensitive to this type of thing. Perhaps It’s a trait I should be careful about?

It occurred to me when I read back about Hydrahead using whispers to make death threats. You seemed surprised Alex. It just made me wonder.
Sad to see Snuffbox go like that, but I could see that coming. I’ve been in contact with him since he joined Snuffhouse. First he whispered me, then we exchanged emails. He emailed my yesterday saying he had asked to be removed because of the silliness. I never learned much about the chap, he is a very private person. The emails contained only snuff related items, so that’s all he thought this forum should talk about I guess. Just as Mark said, I hope he lurks to the ‘right’ threads and maybe come back one day.

@ Alex, yes…He would often come on the forum publicly saying I was his idol also. I think is stems from when he first enrolled as a member on here, he was new to snuff and I gave him a lot of advice. By the way Alex the attachment button has gone. Did you switch if off so that is isn’t easy to post pictures?

Back now, still hyped up from seeing Clapton, he was just terrific! Re Alex seeing Whsipers - I believe he should. Hydrahead whispered me, out of the blue, and said ‘Die Fu88ing pig, Die’. Now, as a big fat old cop that sort of thing is like water off a ducks back unless the person saying it is in front of me with a weapon in their hand (which I’ve had), some little twit who is safe behind his keyboard doesn’t even appear on my radar…but there are a lot of people for whom that would have been a very big deal and who would just have gone away never to return. I’m not suggesting Alex reads all the whipers, just that he has the capacity to do so.
Correct me if I’m wrong but I heard a lot of unpleasant whispers were exchanged during that paedophile joke affair too.
This is what Hydrahead posted to me, I apologise for the content but it does help to make my point: “Dethklok fucking rules!!! DIE YOU BASTARD DIE!!!” Membership of this site, and the capacity to whisper, is entirely within the gift of the owner; Alex. Its not a private email and in my view there are no privacy issues. If members want privacy they can always exchange emal addresses. I think Alex, and only Alex, should have an overview of the whats happening on the site. Another question: are closed threads still readable by all members? I’ve just looked at the one with the joke about a kids genitals. Should this be taken off entirely?
Hydrahead is gone anyway. I just deleted the mentioned joke. If you ever get whispered insults, please let me know. I can turn on the reading ability to all whispers at any time.
Hi Guys, Let’s go easy on old Snuffbox. I know he didn’t turn out to be a fair moderator but he was only doing what he thought was right. I know that can make asses of the best of us sometimes. We need to set the right kind of example to other forum users and by being rude about Snuffbox we basically say it’s OK to stick the boot into anyone we diagree with. Additionally, Snuffbox maybe back on the forum under another name or even just looking anonymously, he won’t exactly feel welcome, Please don’t hate me for saying this, Regards and best wishes, Martin
