More advice for new members

We are different from other sites in that we don’t allow abuse or swearing at other members. If that’s your scene then you will be happier elsewhere and a couple of mouse clicks will escort you off the site, Free speech and debate are absolutely paramount, but it has to be conducted in a civilsed way. A final point, please avoid posting vast cuts from the web to back up arguments - they just take up space (and IMHO I suspect are rarely read), and ensure you use the OT thread if your discussion is not about snuff.
