We just received a boatload of Samuel Gawith Jubilee pipe tobacco. This is produced to celebrate the Royal Jubilee as well as 220 years of producing fine snuffs and tobaccos for SG.
There are three tin label styles, though the tobacco is the same in each one. The tobacco is a blend of Gold Virginias and Sweet Black Cavendish with, of course, a Champagne flavor.
If you buy one, buy two…lay one down because these will be collectors items for sure.
Also we now have Mick McQuaid and Warrior. These were by request.

@Dave, I would love to order some SG tobaccos from you but why is it so expensive? Compared to US prices, you are about 50% more expensive.
How much will shipping be on four 50g tins of tobacco, please? I’m looking for St James flake plus some more.

@Pieter: When I first started buying pipe tobacco I was shocked at the price; it just didn’t make sense. I can actually buy them cheaper in the US retail and ship them back to the UK cheaper than I can get them wholesale direct from the manufacturer - in theory at least. Of course when customs starts applying all their excise, duty and taxes it will be a different story I am sure. I asked the guys at SG the exact same question. According to them it is because of local taxes and the fact that they are shipped over to the US by the container-load, as opposed to me buying 40 tins at a time. There is no economy of scale.
This is why you will notice my selection is rather limited. Since I cannot compete on price there is no point stocking anything but those that are difficult to get, or simply unavailable outside of the UK (like the Jubilee).
Shipping to SA: I am not sure since it is calculated automatically but to the US is is $12 or so. I would imagine to SA it will be the same.
