After collecting an obscene amount of Tobacco (thanks Tom) and trying them out I have finally found Samuel Gawith! Their Black Rappee and London Brown are my 2 favorites. But it’s not just that. Gawith’s flavors are long lasting. Not just a pinch here and then 5 minutes another pinch. Their florals like Cob Dark stupefy the senses with their delightful flowers. The mentholated’s like Golden Glow are a marvel of perfection. I’ve found snuff heaven.

Samuel Gawith do indeed produce excellant snuff their Kendal Browns are among my favourites so much so i buy them in bulk. I have yet to try the London Brown or the Black Rappee but now you have put them on the radar i will seek them out. I agree with you totally about the Golden Glow just the right amout of menthol for regular use and a great nose flavour.

I like the Black Rapee and Cob Dark. The annoying boxes just make these so hard to enjoy, I need to finish off some Wilson’s and Toques and transfer the 12 or so SGs I have to pinch style tins so that I can get to know them better. I’m hitting Princes Gold (formerly Princes Light) pretty regularly even from the annoying box.

I guess it is impossible to buy SG in bulk in america?

I got my bulk SG at Snuff.me.uk. Pretty good prices for the snuff and shipping and it arrived pretty quickly. One of my orders took a while because SG had a broken down machine, and when they got it fixed they ran out of tobacco, but there were generous free samples included with that order to make up for it.
