In regards to my last statement; I don’t loathe Pöschl. I just can’t tolerate the effects it has on my sinus. To me this was not beginner friendly. I think one of the reasons snuff is *not* popular is due to Pöschl products dominating the brick & mortar market. If anyone’s nose is like mine and they bought one of those on a lark (becuase it was the only snuff the tobacco store sells) I doubt they would go back and buy more. However, I also do love their schmalzers! I’ve had both Dopplearoma D and Südfrucht. Both are outstanding. I can stuff shovelfuls of them up my nose! If these were wideley available, I think they would sell.
A little sketch: Pöschl snuff miller: I have a great idea for a new product! Pöschl Vice President of Marketing: Great, lets hear it! Miller: Well, it will be a nice strong tobacco blend, rich and full and moderatley ground. VP: Hmmm. Sounds boring. Miller: well I can add some artifical fruit flavors and some sugar. VP: What, no menthol? Miller: I was thinking, we might make one, just one, snuff without menthol. VP: Making a snuff without menthol is like making a snuff without tobacco! Miller: Well, we already have a lot of… VP: Wait! That’s a great idea! Miller, make me a snuff with menthol and no tobacco! Then make a few more with lots of fruity flavors. The kids will love it! Miller: !!! [sheepishly] yes, sir. You know best of course.
Then you’d have Wlison’s White Snuff.
I was thinking Ozona Snuffy Weiss.
