Greetings everyone. Got recommended to this forum by the upstanding (?) gentlemen (?) at snuson. I am hoping to get into snuff. I am waaay into snus, but due to recently getting invisalign braces, am having to take a hiatus. (Basically, the tobacco juice gets stuck between the braces and my upper teeth… yuck.) I am not about to take up something as harmful as dip or cigs… so, here I am. I have a bunch of newb questions that I was hoping you would be able to help me with… In no particular order: 1: Sneezing. For my first order, I got De Kralingse and Poschl… both made me sneeze immediately upon trying. I opened the order this morning, and by evening time, Poschl is not making me sneeze anymore, but De Kralingse is… My question: this will go away eventually, right? 2: Mint. This comes from my days snusing, but I hate mint. Can’t stand the stuff. As such I am already pretty tired of the Poschl I bought. (Here is my order: De Kralingse Macuba, De Kralingse Prins Regent, Ozona President, Poschl Bayern Prise Brasil, Poschl Gletscherprise.) That being said, the fruit flavored snuffs seem pretty damn cool. I ordered a Toque 10 for 9, and got Blueberry, Berwick Brown, Cherry, Coke, Peppermint, Pomegranate, Strawberry, Spanish Gem, Vanilla, Whisky & Honey. Any other non-metholated fruitish flavors I should try? 3: Boxes… as far as I can tell, each snuff box has only a tiny hole for dumping snuff in your hand. There is no way to open the entire container and take a pinch out directly. I have read that the snuffhouse plastic containers on Mrsnuff are the bomb… do these have both a big and a small opening? 4: Bullets. I have read that bullets are generally considered lame. Do they have any redeeming qualities to make one worth purchasing? If so, which one? Does anyone prefer them to a simple pinch? What would be the rational for getting one? 5: Spoons / sniffers. Spoons are pretty self-explanatory. Are they worthwhile? No idea what the snifferes are for… I presume something like cocaine. Are they worth the hassle? Does anybody swear by spoons or sniffers? The sneezing will get better as your nose becomes used to taking snuff. Although you will still get an occasional sneeze, at least that is how it has been for me. When I really got into snuff full time, I would use a bullet, but that only lasted a couple weeks. Most bullets give tiny amounts of snuff per hit. I did find a bullet that gives good amounts of snuff per hit, there is a thread in the accesories section of this forum titled Big Hit Bullet. Honestly though I dont use a bullet much anymore, I prefer to just tap some out in a boxcar. I know some other members will chime in to answer the rest of your questions. Welcome to Snuffhouse!
Hey @CzechCzar I recognize you from over there at Snuson. You don’t need anything to snuff except a finger, a thumb, and one good nostril. Everything else is extra. Try snuff using large pinches with a remoistened nostril. Read a lot of reviews over at snuffcentral. Or on mr.snuff. Those ought to help you avoid menthols/mint. Your orders look like they are bound to have some winners.

Yup, get a snuffbox from Mrsnuff… They’re awesome. Welcome to the Snuffhouse! Pinch big, sniff shallow and the sneezes will keep away. I almost blew my head off trying to sniff High Dry Toast from a bullet… I use 'em now just to tap onto my hand so i can pinch toast from there.
Having a variety of snuff will help you you decide the beginner likes but don’t toss what you dislike because once you learn the different methods of snuffing you will want to try them again. You can also trade them here. Boxes and devices have a place and all are useful Good Luck on your purchase(s) and you might want to read some of the threads concerning methods and amounts because it does make a major difference in the enjoyment of the products
Read lots, Snuff lots, order lots. In that order. You will learn.
