LOL Im sure the sweet sweet scent of a nice vanilla pipe tobacco attracts the ladies better than free shoes.
It does. You’ll get to talk to more ladies then you’d find in a club or some other such place. It’s a wonderfull thing.
I would like to see a very lightly mentholated plain toast, something with about a quarter the usual amount of menthol and a light, light dab of camphor.
I agree with snuffster. I have craved a light menthol with a hint of sweetness. Something like the blueberry or raspberry menthols though.
I have loved the idea of Pumpkin Pie snuff for the last few years. I can’t remember who originally suggested it but would there be a market for it? I also really like the idea of a lightly mentholated and camphor’d Toast.
My favourite blend at the moment is 1/3 O&G to 2/3 HDT. The menthol camphor toast is a fantastic idea. I remember an earlier thread about Gallagher’s ‘Wit and Wisdom’ mentholated toast which I have tried to approximate.
@toque sure, Id try it. just have it be another seasonal. What are your sales of xmas pudding like? Maybe sam adams it and have 1 seasonal snuff for each of the 4 seasons. Just figure out what spring and summer would be… (Maybe summer would be something like “watermelon and lemonade”)(or “Sweet summer peach tea”(iced tea could have slight menthol).
I cant think of a spring flavor… Lilac in bloom or something. I also notice you dont have anything Poppy flavored… you could do a fruit muffin like poppy seed etc.
You could do a peanut butter and jelly. The possibilities are only limited by the imagination!
For the Zappa fans you could do ‘Watermelon in Easter Hay’ or ‘Peaches en Regalia’.
“The possibilities are only limited by the imagination!” That’s what I keep telling my kids. Nice saying.
In that case - Unicorn flavour. How 'bout it?
Unicorns are made out of rainbows, fairy dust, and dreams. Do you have any idea how much extract of rainbows costs?
Irish Mead (haven’t tried whiskey & Honey so I don’t know if it tastes like it)
how about
blackberry
blackberry and menthol
amaretto as it works well in pipe tabaccos so could it work well in your snuff too???
a new evil monster flavour to go with chesse & bacon yep marmite/vegemite
I dont get what peoples beef with cheese and bacon. Its smokey, then 15 minutes later I think my feet stink for about 5 minutes… First time I was like… WTF feet!
Maybe a root brew (not quite modern root beer), think sassafrass, sarsparilla root, ginger, with maybe a little clove or allspice added.
Or what about: galangal, cardomom and frankinscense, with maybe a little ginger.
-and I’m referring to genuine ginger essential oil- not the scent of the dry spice.
not sure if they have been mention as I only skimmed the thread but:
Ginger
Gooseberry
Casis
Port
I’ve said this several times, but Roderick, please consider the chili pepper idea. Order some Mulato chili peppers (those are dried pods) and I guarantee you’ll fall in love with the scent after just one sniff. Mulato peppers aroma is a mix of raisins, cherry, liquorice and… tobacco. Instant winner.
I’d love to see Roderick’s take on a high Nic White snuff with an extra fine grind. Also still think a butterscotch snuff would be awesome.
I would like to see your take on a hop snuff. McChrystals Stammheimer Hopfen Schnupf is my favorite snuff at the moment.
@BigSnoot McSnuff : you are a genius! I support this guys idea, 100%!
