I will tell you what. This humidity is playing havoc with my wooden slide snuff boxes. ~X( Guess it time to switch over to the flip top snuff boxes. :-B
Humidity is definitely having an affect on my snuffin. I work away in an extremely dry climate and I am realizing it is MUCH easier to take 6 photo and irish toast when I’m back on the east coast. Thought something was wrong with my nose but after getting off and coming back to the coast I’m in the f’in groove boys. Peace out 8-}
Although the climate inside for me is consistent I find that when encountering varied climate situations outdoors that it brings a different dimension to most snuffs- usually an enjoyable one.
I live up at high altitude with low humidity. I thought I felt a bit different when I was on the coast, but I thought that was me just getting better at taking snuff.
I think background scents and air quality do make a difference, just as does mood and surroundings. Different snuffs can work better in different places and at different times of day. Something to remember for those snuffs that you don’t instantly get along with. Another time and maybe another place and the effect may be different
