I was joking about the KFC MRM chicken. I agree partially with what PhilipS says. I would like to see more expert blends of both pure and scented tobaccos, but not food flavoured snuffs. I would love to see Wilsons market the old F&T blends.
@ Sandy You just get off the phone with Colonel Sanders or something?haha Seriously, that flavor would also cover the pepper scent some folks were wanting. Maybe heavy pepper with a hint of chicken?
Not sure if anyone mentioned these yet. How about Banana and Root beer? The Wiz!
The root beer should be easy using sarsperila (sp) root.
rootbeer would be great
Mmmmm root beer! Dr. Pepper or ginger ale would be good too.
Kinda like Faygo here in Detroit came out with Dr. Faygo? Dr. Toque!
Oh, yeah Faygo, James! There’s a softdrink called ‘Squirt’, kind of a grapefruit type drink that reminds me of Toque Grapefruit. “Hey friend, give me a pinch of that squirt”
perique tobacco.
Perique would be intense. I think a mustard seed snuff would be awesome, would def clear your sinuses out. Other flavors that might be interesting would be fir, malt, guava, bay leaf, cedar, musk rat, neroli, dandelions, and balsamic vinegar. I apologize if any of these are repeated, I haven’t read the whole discussion. Just my thoughts…
How about a nice lilac snuff? When my lilac tree blooms this spring I’m going to attempt to scent some of the Rustica I have stashed.
My lilacs have a great smell too. Also have a vibernum tree that must be the best flower scent around. I might do some experiments this spring with them.
Good quality frankincense doesn’t come cheap, but I agree that it would make a great snuff. Besides, recent research indicates that frankincense may be a cancer cure:
[Immunologist] Mahmoud Suhail is hoping to open a new chapter in the history of frankincense. Scientists have observed that there is some agent within frankincense which stops cancer spreading, and which induces cancerous cells to close themselves down. He is trying to find out what this is. “Cancer starts when the DNA code within the cell’s nucleus becomes corrupted,” he says. "It seems frankincense has a re-set function. It can tell the cell what the right DNA code should be. “Frankincense separates the ‘brain’ of the cancerous cell - the nucleus - from the ‘body’ - the cytoplasm, and closes down the nucleus to stop it reproducing corrupted DNA codes.” Working with frankincense could revolutionise the treatment of cancer. Currently, with chemotherapy, doctors blast the area around a tumour to kill the cancer, but that also kills healthy cells, and weakens the patient. Treatment with frankincense could eradicate the cancerous cells alone and let the others live.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle\_east/8505251.stm
Flowers got me thinking of my favorite scent, lily of the valley.
I only want some Spanish Jewel.
Seconded.
I think a pure Honey scented snuff would be very enjoyable. I would also love to see Toque make a Coconut or Mango flavor as well. I love mangoes.
New car scent! Lol
I’ve neve seen any commercial product scented with the fragrance of Mimosa blossom, which releases it’s delicate, subtle, non-perfumey and moist fragrance around sunup and sundown each day. Once you smell one, you won’t soon forget it, I wonder if it’s impossible to incorporate some scents into products because of their durability, but I think this would be a fantastic winner, and absolutely unique, if Toque could figure out a way to do it as succesrully as their other floral scents. It smells like fresh, sweet moist air as night turns into day or vice versa. I would also like to see Toque experiment with different grinds and come up with more natural tobacco flavored products, like the wonderful Natural Toast, except more in the area of darker, coarser, moister blends, of which there are few and far between, and which seem to be regularly sold out or difficult to get. The unusual food and drink combinations are not of interest to me, because smelling an item I normally associate with eating or drinking merely whets my appetite for the object, and ends up being frustrating rather than fulfilling, For me, snuff scents work best when they have to do with objects for which smelling them is the primarly way of experiencing them sensually, unlike–for example–chocolate, for which the smell is just a prelude to eating the stuff.
I would like to see a HDT with just a hint of menthol, to the best of my limited knowledge I think there has only been one menthol HDT on the market before.
