Lemon… I think a toque lemon would be fantastic. Either it be a lemon toast of basic lemon I think you could do wonders with it. I know other companies have their versions i.e. mild lemon but I know you can top it. Would make a neat mixer for your lime toast as well I’d imagine. Sprite snuff anyone? Just a thought

T

Excellent suggestion! How about it, Roderick?

E

I meant to say lemon toast OR basic lemon my mistake. I did a quick google search for toque lemon to see if it has ever been suggested (on smart phones the search feature doesn’t appear) but this funny video came up. This Spanish man apparently wants a toque lemon as well lol! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d504vXsTgcA&feature=youtube\\_gdata\\_player

S

+1 Lemon toast would be awsome!

T

I still think Cool Champa would be great.

B

I would LOVE a toque lemon.

M

not till he makes a nice sandalwood!

B

I’m sure Roderick can come up with something to rival O&G. I’m also sure his would be better.

R

Here here!

W

Whalen’s lament- I don’t remember if I have mentioned it before, dear Roderick, but I would fancy a nice, plain, strong as hell snuff! I would settle for some Thouc Lao concoction! I know I represent a small faction, but we are quite vocal and persistent. I understand you have been busy seducing the newbies, with this new mentholated nonsense, but some in the choir are getting restless. I still think that a strong snuff would have quite an audience, and do a much better job at nicotine replacement for some of those who are absolutely sodden with it already. Alas, I do understand the seductive attraction to sitting back and resting on ones already substantial laurels. Just a useless thought, a pointless daydream, a small cry in the dark, an almost inaudible whimper from my soul—.

R

What Whalen said. As a former heavy smoker, I need a hardcore nic version. The Quit doesn’t quite do it. I’d like to have a staple from the company that resembled the American scotches.

E

Whalen I second that as well. Something heavy hitting along the lines of d white power perhaps? I’d love to have that in the arsenal. It’s like me with snus I love to have an extra sterk every now and again to give me a good kick

N

Many members have mentioned many times that we want a Toque that will rival any of the US scotches in nicotine, so Roddy where’s our Super Quit Extra?

K

I would love for there to be more plain snuff from Toque.

C

You will finish if you know what is good for you!

E

Oh I understand Roderick keep it in mind for a while down the road my friend. All I have is time

W

Speak for yourself @EricHill78, My clock is ticking along faster and faster! Better to get it done while I am still mortal, I would be a bad ass ghost and could use a little RandR in Roderick’s neck of the woods- Boo! @Roderick - Can you imagine a ghostly PP and me hanging around banging the pots? Of course PP would be banging the cat too! If not for me do it for the poor Cat!!! You have been a good sport and a magnificent crafter of snuff, my hat is off to you none the less.

C

LOL! Well… it’s funny, but yet it’s not. Ah hell, I’m confused.

R

When the Super Extra Quit comes out I’ll order only from Toque. I need my butt kicked though so I have to buy US Scotches and use the Toque on the side.

G

I agree with a Toque Scotch and would also love a Toque Schmalzer.

R

That said, I still plan to order enough Lime Toast to fill a room and lock myself in there for good.

X

There will never be a Toque Schmalzler unless Roderick moves operations to another country. A Toque Scotch. Good idea. That would be Roderick getting back to his roots.

G

How about just a Schmalzler style then LOL

X

Nope. Not legal. It might be easier to change the law.

T

Toque Makla

R

The Greeks and Mexicans at the diner would say makla a lot but I don’t think it had anything to do with snuff.

G

Well…damn

R

Toque White would be really nice!

R

How about Toque Haggis!!!

M

I’ll pass on the Haggis…

B

Toque Rappee

C

Paragoric, ah good ole diarrhea relief.

K

Camphorated tincture of opium doesn’t sound pleasant.

O

The idea of a Toque Scotch gives me a raging semi!

C

T. M. I.

O

Hehe.

T

Oh, I’m getting a clue too!

B

Paragoric what? Sounds wonderfull to me.

S

@ bob, That would make a great “medicinal snuff”, Paragoric was great to have in the good ole days when one had extreme digestive pain.

G

Something with camphor would be nice

T

@oscarwabbit giggity

F

I don’t quite have a chubby, but the thought of a Toque Oriental sounds wonderful to me!

O

@transistor *grin* A Toque Camphor, something which competes or betters wilsons camphor and mild, would be fantastic!

F

And here I was thinking that Oscar’s ‘raging semi’ might attract MORE female snuffers to the forum…lmao at Oscar!!!

B

All those flavors sound great!

O

@tom502 that’s south park! But I don’t mind, I love that show. @Fischy I wish lol

P

+1 for Toque Lemon here! Of course, I’ll try whatever Roderick comes up with =)

X

@Roderick Good ideas. What’s the difference between Oriental and Latakia? Paragoric? well at least you are not crazy enough to name a snuff “Bezoar.” Hopefully you have found something creative to make with the Thuoc Lao. Perhaps something with Perique as well? I understand if you don’t want to talk any more about this now, but these nuggets you volunteer are tantalizing.

F

Roderick is like the mad scientist of snuff…I’ve got this mental image of him as Doc Brown with his hair all wild going, “Oh no Marty, too many flavors, too many flavors!!!”

N

@Xander Orientals are generally sun cured, Latakia is smoke cured

X

@n9inchnails thanks!

P

Hmm… when I read “Oriental”, I was thinking more along the lines of a Toque version of some of the better Indian snuffs. But a Toque made with various types of Basma would be good, too. Heavy on the Yenidje, please, Roderick!

J

I have some native poppys growing in my yard now so don’t give me to many ideas guys. @Whalen …Don’t tell me you have no Toque Thouc Lao. @Roderick since this is your thread AGAIN … let me ask, did you put Indian tobacco in your Levi Solera? Also, Was Spanish Gem your first Solera attemt? Thanks, for posterity please respond.

W

@Juxtaposer - Yes, as a matter of fact I crafted a simply wonderful snuff out of the Thouc Lao, just with a basic rendering. It remains one of the best simple ground tobacco snuffs I have, and I am amazed at how nice it is. I have a small stash of leaf left and was just wondering what magic Roderick could add. It has a great snuff potential, strong, smokey. I have not attempted any fermentation or PH adjustment, and would if I had more leaf to spare, I think that it could be fantastic in the hands of someone with the knowledge to shape it. I simply want a crafted plain tobacco snuff with a punch, maybe a slight addition of flavor, but one that would provide that Nic kick that needs to be addressed. I get that with Grunt, almost, and that explains most of my attraction to it. But after experiencing the inherent pleasurable rush associated with the actual Jewel, no snuff comes close. I realize the potential of both the White and Elephant to provide this hit, but the fine grind and harshness are drawbacks. I understand that the grind is a major part of the equation, faster uptake. But those two snuffs are just too much, too fast. I guess that what I crave is a commercial snuff, with 90% of the nic hit, and 50% of the burn. I would think that the grind is part of the key. This is what would make the perfect quit smoking snuff, a mild taste, good punch, and a little bit longer in the nose. I still cannot take too much nic at once, I find it unpleasant. The trouble with Rustica is the nasty drip, but I would think that blending could dry that out quite a bit. I guess what it comes down to is that a commercial snuff needs to be toned down to be successful. I just think that what I crave from a commercial snuff would make it legendary I think that it is an important quest.

W

A latakia snuff sounds wonderful Roderick, all we need now is a Toque Clove and something with camphor in it. I can’t wait for these new flavours, just a bugger we have to wait till October. Stefan

B

I don’t know if I have said this before. It’s my favorite snuff scent of all times and I’am getting sick of having to make it out of natural. Black Pepper. Seriously it’s awesome. It’s the only snuff I’ve tried that I would call a manly floral.

J

I absolutely agree with bob on the Black Pepper. @Roderick if you don’t do it, W.O.S. will one up you on this one. And the Lord knows that they are just itching to keep you down. Take their Lemon Toast for example. Where do you think they got the idea for that one?

B

Good point. You could call it Piper nigrum. You could also call it Piperaceae. Seriously if you can make a cheese and bacon and people buy that. Well imagine the two mixed together. That would be awesome.
