Chances are that Northerner came in and told them that they were not charging enough for shipping.
Thatās okay Roderick, at least I know you wonāt be extorting anyone.
Roderick, please keep us posted. I will want to get a gigantic order in before anything changes.
āMay you live in interesting timesā, indeed.
So how is this age verification going to work through some sites? Please donāt tell me youāre gonna make it be 21-or-older, like some cigar sites out thereā¦as Iām only 20. I donāt understand why some sites do that, the legal age (at least here) is 18 after allā¦
Itās not elaborate at all. And, IMHO, itās no excuse to quadruple the shipping cost.
I still like the āplain brown wrapperā idea. Label it as instant tea or something. The bulk Toques would be easy to label as instant tea, because they are in baggies, and it really does look like instant tea.
Excuse me while I calmly rap my tin and have a pinch as the hatchet fallsā¦
Getsnus had age verification software since Iāve been shopping with them, thatās almost 2 years now. So its nothing new. Also, I canāt see Pƶschl realistically pulling out of the US market. They already have the largest market share here. Something will work itself out. Something is not making much sense with all of this.
Well, the fact that Poschls US distributor sent their entire stock back to Germany is a grim sign. Perhaps sales were not what we thought they were.
I also just noticed that Poschl no longer list Packards Club, Ozona Orange, and Ozona Spearmint for their offerings. This is of course on the non-Germany site.
You know what is really strange and should make everyone feel really confused. When I checked it out my shipping cost went down a lot ups. Which just makes it even more of a conundrum.
Iām confused, because some places I read that private carriers will deliver tobacco, and other places Iām reading they wonāt.
May I ask which Poschl products are/were USA-only?
Getsnus uses UPS so you have to sign on receipt. This is actually not that bad except A.) It costs more, and B.) You have to be home the day it gets delivered. The FDA loves to mettle in everyones business, they even tried to get electronic cigarettes banned, which is a big slap in the face to any ex-smoker. The FDA is fundamentally Marxist after all. Ozona/Poschl is actually what got me started on snuff, but i dont care for it nearly as much as the Toque ive tried. Props to you, Roderick, for going through the annoying process, best of success. I for one will pay the extra bit for shipping to keep getting snuff from you: I love it It would really suck if the FDA keeps trying to over regulate and make cigarettes and dip by BIG TOBACCO corps. the only US option. Im so happy to be free of cigarettes choosing ecigs, snus and snuff instead, it just boggles me that the FDA tries to thwart healthier options for people like me, a US military Veteran at that.
The FDA is not fundamentally Marxist.
Itās Stalinist.
Clueless and a bit corrupt are the descriptors Iād use.
So Stalinist it is then lol Stefan
As a historian, I have to agree on Stalinistā¦it is so very sad that this is not even a joke from me.
