NTSU !!!

I agree. Pieter should get FREE NTSU from the manufacturer for life. He’s probably “sold” more cans than any of their salespersons.

Thanks for the compliment Chris but it was the Snuff House forum who actually detected the diamond. If I wasn’t urged on by a couple of members, I would never have ordered any Ntsu. When I opened that first tin, I smelled it and put it aside for a while. It took me quite a while to realize that this snuff is really “user friendly”. Now I use it every day. @bigmick: I was also thinking along those lines! LOL

Definitely agree - I hereby unofficially crown you King Pieter I of NTSU!!

I’ve “remade” some Ntsu. I’ve dried a tin of Ntsu on a piece of paper. I then ground it to super fine. To this I’ve added some fresh Ntsu to moisten it a bit and replace the ammonia. I now have a snuff which is easier to get up my nose.

Solera NTSU  It does age like fine wine, or a nice hardwood. I think the company that makes it should make you the CEO. You could have Karoo Stof in international production and then retire as a millionaire.

I think they do owe you, Pieter. However it seems there is not much info on the enigmatic “M.L.P.” Or is that just the distrubutor?

@Pieter Claassen What did you use to grind it?

Bought some tins from Tom at Nicotine Rush that should hit my mailbox tomorrow. Thanks, Tom and Pieter you are off the hook now…LOL

Tom is now out of NTSU reg. That sure did go fast!

5 more Black & 5 more Menthol coming. May be quite a while before more are available. Dave has a few Menthol left and I think Mike is getting some. (not sure on this one) Check out nasalsnuffblog.com for the latest info. The Black & White from Dholakia is almost here! Tom

Thanks to NicotineRush.com I finally have been able to try this snuff. I am three days into it now and I do love the earthly hayfield smell. If I grew up on a farm I am sure it would take me back there. If you have not tried it take the plunge, you will not be disappointed. A couple things I have learned: Let it air out. I did four hours under some halogen lighting (three feet away, not directly under) spread out on a plate and the ammonia smell disappeared. I also ground it a little using my fingers, which makes it a little easier to get in the nose. Finally, this snuff more than any other will make me sneeze, in fact it is the only one in my rotation that does this. Don’t know why, but be prepared.

I picked up my package of NTSU that I ordered from Wesley’s in South Africa from the post office this morning. I got 10 tins regular and 5 menthol. I was wondering how it was going to make it through customs but Wesley wrote “gift” on the declarations tag! Don’t think it would have gone through with “tobacco” on it. I’ve been snuffing mostly the regular all morning, with a few pinches of menthol here and there, right out of the container, no drying it out or anything! The texture, moisture and look reminds me of F&T’s Santo Domingo or Princes, but there’s where all similarity ends. It’s very earthy tasting with a slight burn. I like the regular more than the menthol. Like the Santo Domingo and Princes, it is kind of clogging. I’ll have to do a little White to clear me up. LOL I have to say, I’m really enjoying it. I think have enough to last me quite a while!!! Maybe I’ll do a few trades on the trading pages. Then again, I don’t know, it’s gonna be hard to let go of this stuff!!

Packages go through fine with the terms “Snuff” or “Tobacco” on them.

I got an order from the UK snuff store last week and it said right on the customs label, snuff tobacco 8.

Yes, they go through fine, but its also alerting customs that you may owe tax on it. The flip side is, that they inspect random ones, and if you’ve lied, you owe tax and a fine.

I’m obviuosly confused about the new laws concerning importing tobacco to the US. Is that only from the UK to the US, and only if you use a credit card?

There are no new laws regarding this. Certain US credit card processers have seen fit to make their own rules about what they will allow to be bought and sold through their service. You can buy and sell tobacco between the US and UK just like always. Taxes and duties apply as before. If you want to do business with one of the UK merchants, I suggest you write to them. They will work with you from what I understand.

Thanks Xander for that clarification. I wonder why Wesley’s decided to write “gift” on the declarations tag instead of “snuff”. I paid for the snuff with my Visa bank card, which can be used for credit or debit. Is Visa one of the companies making their own rules?

never had a problem ordering tobacco with my visa card.

‘Gift’ on the customs form has nothing to do with your credit cards. It is simply a courtesy to you to save you from paying customs duty on your package
