@mattsnuffs what is this “Chema” ? i neard heard of it before.
Chema is the Makla made by Poschl.
Yes. Its not as good, but not bad. I made myself sick with Makla Green yesterday with a big farmers pinch. That’s what I get for doubting its power. I think the packaging is cool! Plus I love reading labels in French, Makla (from Belgium) being no exception. Strange little side-note about me. The nasal snuff by the same company is amazing, btw.
Could always make a makla suppository. I imagine that would hit you quite hard.
I read about sublingual on a list of regional smokelss tobaccos. I think it may have been a list by W.H.O… It was from some international health group. In one part of Africa (I wish I could remember where excatly, I think it was near but not Cameroon). The tobacco sounded like a home-made snus. It had mostly the same ingriedents. It said that people placed it under their tongue for 20-30 minutes. I’ve tried it with snus and it man it was strong and uncomfortable.
I tried with scotch snuff, I can’t recommend it.
it would be horrible with scotch. I don’t recomend it with much unless you want a really fast snus buzz. Like I said though it doesn’t feel right and not in a it burns too much kind of way. Also it’s very uncomfortable too.
Maybe portion makla could be made for the UK market to help us poor Brits out with the absurd Snus laws?
I have ordered all the types of makhla available and I really enjoy them. Really hope Dave gets the Ifrika back in stock soon. I have been using all the South African styles orally for a bit now and love the natural taste. Ntsu black used orally is the goods. Tears up my gums though.
GN tobacco have a new 22mg plain tobacco los snus coming soon called Odens Extreme. I am hoping it will have the hit of Makla but with more tobacco flavour.
Ha ha yeah I thought sublingually was in the nose lol. If you don’t know what the word means the description sounds logical since you were describing burning and a this feels wrong feeling. I’m tempted to try using it under the tongue now, I know if you hold dip juice under your tongue or just let it build up (make sure you don’t swallow it) a while it hit’s you really fast.
yeah if you can’t wait a few minutes for the hit it’s the way to go. Like if it’s that are stomp someones face in I reccomend under the tongue. Otherwise just wait a few minutes. It’s the nicotine emergency plan.
Dude I can’t stand Makla. The only good one is Neffa Ifrika, the nasal one.
I’am afraid of the stuff. I think it’s the way the stuff is discribed by the manufactuer. It also seems over-priced then again I excpect a pack of it too go in one day.
Use a very small amount at a time, and that little tin will last a long time.
Yeah, you don’t use very much at all. If you used the same size bit as a pris of snus or a lip of american dip, you would probably get pretty sick.
I bake my makla exactly like my snus. No ill effects for me, so I’d chalk it up to just tolerance. If you’re already using sterks or extra sterks, a snus-sized prilla of makla probably won’t hurt you.
We have a new Chema in stock. It is a plain version. I have not had a chance to try it yet, so if anybody has and would like to give a review it would be much appreciated. Don’t forget you get reward points for every review you do.
