I pulled out a new tin of Makla Rouge last night, loaded up my prismaster and tucked it under my top lip snus style. It knocked me off my seat. Serious whitey. I actually had to remove it after about 3 minutes. Mind you I was 2 stiff voddies into the evening so perhaps the effect was exacerbated, but still…that is a mighty powerful nic hit. My thoughts on it are now: 1. You need a prismaster. Trying to squeeze some of this mud into a little ball and tuck it under your top lip is more trouble than it is worth, plus you end up with muddy fingertips. 2. You have to be willing to put up with the fact that it may disintegrate a little if you let too much saliva ‘water’ it down. You then look nasty with mud on your teeth. No getting away from it. 3. The tins can be VERY difficult to open, they are so tight. However it does keep the Makla moist. If you do lose moisture just add a few drops of water and mix it up like a mud pie, let it dry out again a little if necessary. Works just fine. With these thoughts in mind, if you can tolerate the negatives (lets face it we tolerate brown snot) it is well worth it if strong nicotine buzz is what you are in the mood for. I have tried the strongest snuffs and the strongest snus out there and very few come close. Dave
Ordered a tin from ya and have a prismaster. Lord what am i getting myself into!
the Makla Neffa Ifrikia is a nasal snuff though, correct? At least thats what I’ve read somewhere. I hope its not quite as moist as the stuff you tried. I planned on ordering the Neffa Ifrikia to try it out, under the impression it was a nasal snuff.
Neffa Ifrikia is very dry and fine. Its snuff not makla. Tastes a lot like Yellow Crest! http://www.sifaco.be/Engl/Histoire\_eng.htm
Cool. Thanks for the info, Xander. I was under the impression that Makla was the name of the company that manufactures the products and not a type of tobacco product. I’m looking forward to trying the neffa ifrikia. Has anyone tried this? I imagine it being similar to NTSU but will have to wait till I get my hands on some.
I don’t find it too hard to hand bake Makla though an easy alternative is to wrap some in a rizla.
The Neffa Ifrika is awesome. I really like it. It has the scent kinda like NTSU. It’s pretty fine and dry though. It is awesome. I’d recommend it to anyone who likes snuffs like Dholakia Black or NTSU.
