Anyone any idea how to snuff makla ifrikia?

Bought makla ifrikia in Malaga this morning. Tried snuffing it but it’s too moist and clumpy. I thought something was wrong with it but when I checked it online mine looks like the pictures.

Most similar I’ve had to date is Gawith Black Arabica or Lowen Prise by Poschl but they’re still powdery like a snuff should be. Just less so than say Dr. Vereys Plus. So snuffing them is no issue.

I just can’t get it to snuff up. Any ideas?

Sounds like tobacco that is probably supposed to be taken orally. I bought a tin of what I thought was snuff in N. Africa and was utterly perplexed on how to take it nasally – until I was put wise by a local man who found my sneshin efforts very amusing.

lol.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I found out it is designed to be chewed. The weird thing though is Mr. Snuff says it’s easy to insert in your nostril. Now the only way I can think of doing that is the equivalent of picking my nose which I don’t think people particularly want to see me doing haha.

Yes, makla is a snus like thing. Oral use, had a shop carry it locally, was interesting

Thank you.

I think it stinks like s***. Even the Mr. Snuff description isn’t appetising. Says it smells like a stable lol. But always worth trying something new.

It’s oral tobacco and not snuff. I tried it once and found it rather unpleasant.

I tried it as chew over the weekend. It’s like dung though the nicotine buzz is strong which is a positive.

However, I stopped after it literally made me vomit. Snuff has never done that. Cigars, on the odd occasion, have left me feeling queazy, but tobacco has never made me ill before. So I’ll be taking a rain check on this stuff in future.

Wad it into a pea sized “pris” lump, whatever you wish to call it. Top lip, against the gum. I find that to be a “spitter”

That’s what I did. But I think I overdid it. Anyway, I don’t really want to get into chewing on top of cigars and snuff. Particularly since I’m in my early forties and didn’t ever use any tobacco until a couple of years ago. I think the sticks and the nasal powder are enough lol!
