Indian snuffs

Just tried my first pinch of: Dholakia Sparrow Cool… It has many similarities to an American Scotch. It starts with the same intensity and then mellows out and lingers much longer. The menthol is almost an undertone.

Howdy gandalf! If patience is not a natural attribute, it comes with practice. If it does not, you tend to lose your mind. For me, the big difference in the Indian snuffs is the progressive changes you smell once you have the snuff in your nose. To make an illustration, I would compare European snuff to smelling one flower… Indian snuff is taking a walk all the way through the garden. That along with the fact that the sensations can last MUCH longer with a very small pinch of Indian snuff than they might with a big pinch of European snuff.

Just tried my first few pinches of Cheetah but I haven’t been able to figure it out yet. Probably because the last snuff in my nose was a Latakia and it may be lingering a bit. After reading the reviews, I had the good sense to put it into a bullet for first encounters.

Your image of garden is quite évocative,by chance I should recieve soon a tin of 6 photo Cheeta to walk in.

Since dry fine ground snuffs are new to me, it will take a bit of time for me to master Cheeta. I am starting by enjoying my Cheeta with my Posh snuff bullet.

cheeta is a challenge for sure. worth perisisting as it is wonderful stuff. I have enjoyed 6 photo, 5 photo and dholakia snuffs, all great stuff. 6 photo anarkali is my favorite so far, with fubar (dholakia) grunt a close second.

It may sound kind of funny but… My first sensation with Cheeta reminds me of Pond’s Cold Cream!

Looks like Dholakia Sparrow Cool may present a bit of a challenge too!

I found for the moment principaly a lovely smell of incence at Cheeta(like you said Howdy for an other 6 photos)…In my next order of snuff I will try the six photos who spread pomegranate… … Anarkaly. A strange thing, nobody wrote about 5 photos…

I have not tried 5 Photo yet due to the fact that ever since I discovered Indian snuff, 5 Photo has been out of stock at Mr. Snuff.

I got a can of 6 Photo Cheeta in the mail today. The scent is incredible and unlike anything I’ve sampled before, but it’s a formidable challenge to take! I’m only just getting the hang of toasts, let alone Indian whites.

I say try them all! All are different than western snuff, and mighty tasty.

I tried hydrating some Dholakia Sparrow Cool… It gets MUCH darker when it has a bit of moisture in it! A bit of moisture really brings out the menthol too.

Speaking of Indian snuffs, this customs hold up of Mr. Snuff’s Dholakia order is making me a little crazy, been out of Dholakia White forever now…I have emailed Dholakia asking if I could purchase directly from them but I cannot get anyone to reply to my emails.

I’m still loving Anarkali, it’s a lush snuff indeed. Would anyone have any suggestions for which 6 Photo snuff I should try next, having enjoyed Anarkali? I’m extremely impressed with the quality and packaging of Anarkali so I’d like to explore more of the 6 Photo range before I move on to other Indian snuff exploration.

Have been ‘stuffing’ Cheeta all day (fighting a worthwhile losing battle to keep it out of my lungs!). The scent is out of this world…absolutely divine on a hot, sunny day like this. I’m starting to believe that certain snuffs are more enjoyable in certain atmospheric conditions. I would pay good money for incense which replicates the Cheeta scent.

@jinder 6 Photo Special is really good It’s a dark snuff similar to Kailash but for some reason I like Special better.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll add a tin to my next order

For me, it is too close a call between Kailash and Special to name a favorite.

Provably, you put “Temptations” product in a inférior place than some others indian snuff. They semms to be only médiocrs tests to approach europeans ones. Its a subsydary to Dhokalia whose purpose very fines snuffs on others way…
