Have you used Jip? Really good.
I like JIP
I donât think i could snuff menthols all day long but they are quite nice if youâve been using a dry snuff to give you a bit of a run to blow out some dead snuff!
Thats exactly what I do. Also, Bernard Aecht Alt Schmalzler does a fabulous job moistening my nose up and making me able to blow out a workdays use of DW making it(my nose) ready for more! If I
m not in the mood for mentol. Sorry for the OT
I surprisingly loved Hedges, it is not nearly as one-dimensional to me as some people describe it. Under the strong menthol and camphor, at the very beginning and end of the pinch before theyâve hit/after theyâve left, thereâs a really delightful warm-biscuit tobacco base. Itâs one Iâll definitely reorder and is in the running for favorite English menthol (I still have a lot to try though!)
Hedges was the first snuff I ever tried and made my nose run like a steam train not had it now for over 1.1/2 years think I will give it a go before bediboos tonight :-h
I dug into my tin that just arrived today- one of several as I try each for the first time. Fantastic stuff. Its got that airy menthol that I am familiar with from Poschls Gletscher Prise, but its much lighter. Love the tin that I found filled to the rim. Does open me up a bit but given the fact that I have tried three other new snuffs today Iâm not sure if its the Hedges L260 or my consumption of different snuffs. A definite keeper.
Itâs funny because when I first started snuffing menthol I went with toque and thought it was too strong. Slowly but surely Iâm craving strong strong menthol. Hedges 260L itâs time

Hedges is one snuff I canât be without. I just with one could buy it in bulk. At least if you buy it by the dozen it is a bit cheaper. The grind and moisture level is just perfectâI love the silky feel. Yes, I get a bit of rebound after a binge on it, but some saline nasal spray and all is good. In fact, I think itâs time for a hit.
Hedges is an outstanding menthol snuff, it and O&G have been my go-to menthols for a couple of years now.
Couldnât agree more, I could live the rest of my life using just these two snuffs and wouldnât mind at all. Classic English menthols that have stood the test of time.
Hedges is by far my favourite medicated snuff. Its very heavy menthol but somehow I get a really good tobacco scent from it. It reminds me a bit of SM500 less the Eucalyptus. Probably its the camphor. Just a lovely balance and super fluffy and easy to take. I actually add a little Hedges to Sharrow Camphor and Mild as the C&M is a little too mild. L260 stands very well on its own though. *edited for spelling only
Hedges actually makes my palms moist from sweat sometimes. just slightly moist. maybe its the nicotine.
@Chicago_CA WoS actually advertise the SM500 as âThe Sharrow equivalents of Hedges L260.â
