I bought a tin from my local tobacconist today and am loving it, it seems to be the perfect balance of menthol, tobacco and eucalyptus and I normally hate (!) menthol snuffs but this stuff really does me well. What are your thoughts?
It’s the bees knees! Last snuff I take before going to bed and the first upon arising. Some say it’s too strong, but I love it.
Hedges L260 is my favorite go-to snuff. I go through big tins of that like crazy. Of course it is noted for being strong on the menthol, but I guess since I use it so frequently I’ve gotten used to it and it just feels like a regular mentholated snuff to me. In fact I wish I could find a stronger menthol snuff. (Reviews I read suggested Wilson’s of Sharrow Dynamite was stronger on the menthol, but tbh I didn’t find it much stronger, or perhaps my menthol tolerance is just too high at this point).

Holy Menthol Bomb, Batman!! It was one of my first snuffs after the locally available scotches. I tried some other menthol snuffs too and concluded I don’t really like menthol that much. I think it’s a good one, if you’re into that sort of thing. But, it’s not for me. My tastes may change though, who knows?
The facts speak for themselves - the fact it’s still available when all of its brothers and sisters in the Hedges range are no longer available, the fact it’s still available on the high street, and lastly the fact it gets discussed on here frequently. Good stuff !
I had no idea it was the only hedges left! that’s sad 
I’m lucky to have a good tolerance for menthol without the often associated problems that many people have and I really enjoy menthol snuffs, L260 being one of my favourites, although O&G will always be my number 1. I’ve been using O&G daily for 4 years and doubt that will ever change. L260 makes a nice change though.
I haven’t tried many menthols (yet, just placed a Mr. Snuff order that should last me for a decade or three), but I do like Hedges. Like @DivinusSalviarum though, I just wish that I could up the menthol on Hedges even more (maybe increase the menthol 3x or 5x or something). I get that Hedges has a lot of menthol relative to other snuffs, but every time I take it I am just left with wanting MORE menthol, to the point that I don’t think I’ll be truly satisfied until I have a snuff with so much menthol it’s literally painful. Maybe I’ll have to try doing what I did in grade school again, snorting the dust from Altoids. Hmm…

Yeah I don’t understand at all the people who say that Hedges menthol is too strong, I’m always left wanting more menthol after each pinch. As I said I’ve tried the only snuff that some people have claimed to be stronger on the menthol, Wilson’s of Sharrow Dynamite, I found the menthol level to be about the same, only the tobacco scent is much more pronounced on the Dynamite, which means less of a menthol blast overall. I hope some company will introduce some sort of super menthol snuff that blows Hedges and Dynamite away with the menthol. (Or maybe something like that exists, does anyone have any recommendations?)
I have not tried Hedges as of yet but of all the mentholated snuffs I have tried the Radford mentholated in the 25 gram tin found in the Poshl section on MRSNUFF and the Sharrow Mentholated also in a 25 gram tin found in the Wilsons section are by far the strongest menthol hit I have come by. I see Wilson also has an Extra Menthol as well as a Super Menthol,possibly one of them would give the menthol brain freeze your looking for.
Thought Hedges is quite loaded in the menthol department, I find there is also a rather strong eucalyptus’y thing going on. Which makes the menthol sensation a little more interesting as opposed to some solid menthol snuffs I have tried
Its my standard in the medicated line and always on my order list to Mr. Snuff. The closest to it thus far has been WoS Dynamite. I have tried a variety of other mentholated snuffs and while they are ok on their own, I find that L260 is both a standalone great snuff but also useful when mixing up with other snuffs that don’t stand well on their own.
certainly one of my favorites - even gives O&G a run for its money (don’t tell McChrystal’s).
