For sinuses I swear by a ‘Neti Pot’, in fact I use one most days. Now I am not advocating this but, I have heard (and I know this sounds crazy) but, a pinch of snuff in the affected ear does wonders. I personally use a small syringe and warm water as It’s normally wax that is causing the problem.
I dealing with a ear infection right now. I get one in my right ear every other year like clock work…It has become so routine I don’t even go to the Dr anymore I just keep my ear clean and wait it out. It can last anywhere from a couple days to 2 weeks. Also during “ear inefection season” as I call these days now, I have to wear ear plugs in the shower or it prolongs the infection. I’m new to snuff so I never considered that these 2 things could cause an issue. I was naturally due for an ear infection so I’m almost positive it had nothing to do with snuff, however now I’m concerned about how snuff use may affect the healing process. I have an important question. If I only use my left nostril to snuff with then it shouldn’t affect my right ear canal correct? Never had an issue with my left ear so I feel safe using only that side until my infection clears up.
Sorry I took the long route to s short question. If I used snuff in my left notril it shouldn’t affect my right ear correct? I been waiting on answer so I can snuff again…I miss my snuff.
@nervousrhino you should be fine. peel a clove of garlic and bruise it slightly and stick it in your ear for several hours. It should clear up after that. Then dispose or plant the garlic
@basement_shaman Thank you! I was planning on taking a couple days off but then the mail came and a Mr. Snuff order was ahead of schedule so forget that lol. Let the ear stay infected, I have too many new snuffs to try. I will try your method though.
