So the past few days I have come down with a cold and ear infection. Pretty painful atm but I’m keeping on. Something strange I noticed. I’m having these sharp shooting pains in my ears and sinuses and when I take a snuff of my hedges, bout a minute later I feel fantastic as if I don’t even have an ear infection. Can anyone explain this as for my love of snuff just grew ten fold. Also how do I convince my family that the snuff did NOT cause the ear infection lol. Please and thanks for any help guys.

I use an ear drop oil made with mullein flower and garlic combined, seconding Basement Shaman’s recommendation. Lately I’ve been making it but there is a good one available from Herb Farm on amazon or vitacost. I also use it on my cats when they get ear mites. Seems to fix that up. They won’t take snuff.

I found non-menthol tobacco snuff to be a great relief to sinus problems. I started taking snuff originally because I had a chronic fungal problem in my sinuses and was told my only option was surgery. Taking snuff fixed me right up, weird as that sounds. I used to get ear infections frequently. I’m not sure why those stopped. Maybe the sinus and ear infections were connected. No idea. Seems likely.
