What is the SNUFFMASTER-ultimate snuff experience

Does the plastic one retain a lot of odor?

Don’t worry, you will not smell the material

Could all these guys who like the Snuffmaster do my a big favour? It would be very helpfull for me if you can leave a positive feedback on my homepage www.snuffmachine.com and www.amazon.de, www.amazon.com. Thank you so much

@RealSnuffmaster I was just wondering if pungent snuffs leave behind an odor in the plastic. I’ve had some that leech into acrylic bullets.

I had never an issue with this. Therefore you should have no problem

The Snuffmaster seems like it could be convenient and effective dispenser, but I’d want to have a couple of questions answered.

How long will snuff stay fresh in the Snuffmaster (to what extent is it air-tight)?

Can it be disassembled to be cleaned on the inside? This would be important when changing from one snuff to another since the scent of a previous snuff will otherwise linger.

What grinds and moisture levels are suitable for its use? Snuff bullets (which possible use a similar mechanism) are more effective toward the dryer, finer range.

@SammyD13 thanks I have the same questions.  Very interested in a versatile solution for driving, etc.  I like the double-nostril idea and purportedly quality build

Hi guys. I just started using the abs plastic snuffmaster this week. It functions exactly as described. The only one-handed snuff dispenser that is available as far as I know. Pocket sized and built with powerful magnets, the top comes off exposing the complete interior for refilling. So yes it is very easy to clean. I cannot say the snuffmaster is airtight but there is an extremely tight plastic to plastic fit due to the strong magnets. It does not leak and I have been using finely ground snuff. The price is right for the clever design and excellent build quality. I ordered 3, one of each color, and it was only 3.50 EUR for shipping to the US. Hope that answers your questions.

@tinhuey thanks very much. One more question please: does it effectively dispense snuffs with higher moisture and coarser grinds?

I’ve been using the Snuffmaster for over a year now, I hope my experience will be helpful for some. Firstly, after trying number of different boxes, dispenser, bottles, flask etc I can confidently say that Snuffmaster is a level up when it comes to ease of use. I have two metal and two abs Snuffmasters. The metal one has solid feel, strong magnets and optional push bars with different size and number of bores. The lid fits very tight to the body, the magnets are protruding on the box and recessed on the lid which makes a solid contact without letting the lid wobble around. For dry fine snuffs I normally use the single bore option that dispense a nice single portion. Sometimes I use the double bore with the small holes to dispense two single pinch quantities snuff piles. For coarser, moist or clumpy snuffs I use the default double wide bore option with the plastic dispenser. Also I take direct sniffs from the Snuffmaster when using coarse and moist snuffs - very convenient, my favourite way. If I feel like using a spoon or taking a pinch I can do that just as easy by opening the lid. When it comes to preserving the snuff inside still performs better than most other boxes and containers I’ve tried. Depending on the snuff inside it can accommodate between 1.5 to 2.5g approx, which (again depending on the snuff) is between half and two days worth of snuffing. I have dropped both plastic and metal one on number of occasions on different surfaces and never broken anything, in fact most of the time the dispenser hasn’t even opened so no loss of snuff. Moisture retention is also good, but English type snuff does dry up a bit at the end of day 2 (no issues with Schmalzlers, nice and oily even after 3 days). Cleaning is a joke, just disassemble and run warm water on it, soft tissue to wipe and ready to go. I have never seen or experienced lingering smell from snuffs, once rinsed the Snuffmaster is like new. When using Schmalzlers however some extra tissue is required to get rid of the small quantities of oil on the inside of the device, extra 1 min in comparison to dry snuff.

Where should I buy this from? I see they’re out of stock on Mr Snuff and not listed on Amazon. Do you have any active resellers?

I wouldn’t normally go for this sort of thing, but I do a lot of gardening, and sometimes I’m not sure whether it’s snuff going up my nose or soil and bird turd.

I might give one a try. You never know, I might miss the soil and bird turd and start putting it into tins.

I just got the snuffmaster in ABS plastic and aluminum. I think they are a great tool and easy to use with one hand. They are a great sealing snuff box and dispenser which are well made. When you use directly into the nose they produce little or no mess. Think they are a great item for workers who get dirty hands, and would like a sniff of snuff without having to wash their hands, or get a bit of dirty contamination in their snuff.

@beantin would they be good for using while driving or do they need some tipping and gravity to make the snuff come out properly? Ideally it would need to work with the holes facing straight up but if it needs to be, at a minimum, flat then you’d need to tip your head back pretty far to get the right angle. Would make keeping your eyes on the road difficult!

I have an ABS Snuffmaster. Very easy to use while driving. And deer hunting too. Tip and push the bar in, tip up, release the bar and sniff.

@bizzle They are easy to use, if the snuff box compartment is filled up. I just tap then tilt with wrist, while pressing in the sliding dosser bar. Then put up to your nose. After a bit of practice it can become easy.

It also depends on your snuff. If it is a fine grind and dry you will not have to tap to fill up the dosser. With damper fluffier snuffs you may have to tap to pack the dosser hole.
