yeah, well done. Theres being cautious and theres just not doing anything - sometimes you just have to make a decision. I must admit I’m starting to get slightly annoyed with the growth of the OT threads. Not against them per se, but they just seem to clutter the place up - could we have an OT section, I don’t know how practical that is? Also, now we’ve settled down and got used to this role (even if that means NOT doing anything) maybe we could agree to a list of definites that we can feel comfortable about acting on immediately? Can I suggest: Anything racist, pornographic, hate based Religous/political threads that get abusive Threatening, abusive or foul language Blatant spam or advertising, unless snuff related and supported by Alex. These are the things I would not hesitate to close down, I guess we all feel the same about those topics anyway?
I agree that everything above should be deleted ASAP. Anything less blatant we could confer with each other on this thread.
That all sounds more than reasonable to me. I also think that raising it as a topic of conversation before closing a thread and getting the backing of one other mod may be a good idea. A check to stop us getting too trigger happy. Unless it is so blatantly offensive that it must be removed immediately.
We have an off topic category now. You can block this category if you wish to NOT see the discussions in it at the frontpage.

Snuffster: I was thinking about doing the same thing, blocking the OT’s, but I think as mods we really need to keep an eye on them.

I mention this mainly because I’m about to go to bed, in case it comes up… I just deleted two comment from "The collection builds fast… " thread. Tom (I think) made a comment about anti nazi’s being worse than the nazi’s or something like that. Cstokes commented that that was a stupid comment, etc. I figured I’d nip it in the bud.
Lazarus is no mod anymore. Had no time. You can block the category under “Categories”.
