Viking Dark is terrific. The Blonde as well, although, i wish she packed a little more nicotine. The upside of the Blonde is i can pack it in there till there is no more room, swallow a couple times, and pack in more.
I get more smoke from Viking Dark than I do from KB Plain. I still prefer the Viking Brown. More fragrant, more going on.

SG makes my favorite pipe tobaccos, so it comes as no surprise that they make my favorite snuff!!!

How does the Dark compare with Brown. I’ve got a tin of Dark on the way and I really enjoy the Brown, but it’s grind tends to let about 1/3 fall out of my nose

Now that I have a tin of Viking Dark I have little or no use for Fubar Grunt. I know the world and my nose are big enough to accommodate both, but I reach for the Viking Dark every time. Who can resist a big, generous dose of VD? 
To my nose, Viking Brown is an SG Kendal Brown clone, while Dark is like a finely ground SG Scotch Black / Black Rappee. They are both excellent snuffs, not sure why one has to be better than the other. De gustibus non est disputandum, a wise man once said. Personally, I prefer Dark, but Brown has its place in my rotation.
