Toque USA Whiskey and Honey

I completely agree with @mrmanos - this is great snuff and I only wish that I had got some as soon as it came out. I got my first tin yesterday and agree with the comments above. Good to see that this is available in economy bags as I suspect I will be going through this tin rather quickly.

I recently received a 10g tin and finished it in record time. This is one I’ll buy in bulk to keep on hand at all times.

I love this stuff but I wish it wasn’t sweeter than the original W&H, at times I find the sweetness of it a little off putting but the flour can’t be beat. Man do I love rustica

Rustica is awesome. A real game-changer for snuff I predict.

This snuff is right up my alley Per Se. I will be receiving some soon. May be a new favorite.

Just spent some time with this USA version of the Whiskey & Honey, the regular version I find it good with a vanilla/honey sweet scent while in the USA variant I can clearly detect an alcoholic sensation followed by a very warm honey aroma.

The regular version I like, the USA version I profoundly praise, nicely done Roderick! ^:)^

I recently acquired both W&H, and USA W&H. I love them both, but definitely prefer the USA version as it is a tad sweeter imo, and has a much better well needed dose of vitamin N for my needs.

It’s what wakes me up in the morning. Going to get some Rustica next time round, though by all accounts that’ll stand me up before putting me right back down again. Can’t wait!

My USA whiskey and Honey and my normal Whiskey and Honey are both not sweet or like honey at all. The only sent I get is smokey… Is there anyone having the same ? @Roderick ?

@Marielle32 - I had the opposite!~  Mine was tooooooooo sweet.  One sniff overpowered my nose for an entire day, so I threw it in a glass jar in my fridge.  Happy to report after decanting for 94 days, the sweetness has subsided.

The USA Whiskey and Honey I had was lightly scented too, I loved it.

@SHbickel I would love that ! But mine I pure Barbeque unfortunately…

I have a large Tin of W&H from last year. I do get the sweetness and of course the whiskey. Must say if you’re after the sweet of honey bee, this totally different. That said I will need to order more of this- very nice indeed. Subtle and strong

The flavors to my nose…

Toque USA Whiskey & Honey - cocoa mix with a honey flavor.  No whiskey or smokiness.

Toque Whiskey & Honey - similar, but the whiskey is more noticeable.

Differences in personal olfactory physiology I guess… and the way the neurotransmitters make connections…:-?

Toque USA Whiskey & Honey is a favorite, and 1 of 3 of my first-thing-in-the-morning snuffs.

@Roderick thanks for explaining I I know my nose is still a beginner but with the old mill Antebellum I detect a lot of sweetness, the F&T Old Paris is sweet for me and the old mill Ivory toast to. So I thought I would get a tiny bit of sweetness from the USA whiskey and honey but no none. Will it lose the sweetness when it is open for a while ?

@Roderick. So you make Toque WH with Scotch and ToqueUSA WH with Bourbon? I did not know that. I only have your Toque WH and it took me forever to find the whisk(e)y. I thought I finally found Bourbon, but I guess I’m mistaken. It’s delicious, but I would never guess those are the flavors, if I didn’t already know.

This one is magic. I need to spend more time with it. I get chocolate notes on the background and something like rose or sandalwood initially-a very sweet smell, I dunno. I was afraid to order too much of this because when I made whiskey honey with Jack Daniels it was very different from this and although I love a good Bourbon I got tired of the scent quick. You’re doing something with quite a few scents here aren’t you… It’s really good though, well done.
