I think it is. The list of companies is endless, and that’s not even counting the ones that do not advertise on the internet. There have to be companies in Mumbai.
Every Indian Snuff I have had except for one I have fallen in love with. I don’t know what it is about them. I would trade my wife for a lifetime supply of 5 Photo and Sun’s line up of snuffs, not to mention Dholakia. Those folks in India make some damned good snuff!!

If anyone wants a tin of Kohinoor Sun snuff I’d trade it for anything. I still have like 17 Grams. It is quite a good snuff, I find perfumed indian snuffs are good on occasion but not for an everyday or all day snuff, but i do love the indians =D
Resurrecting this thread. As of 10 August 2012, Mr. Snuff did not list one single Sun variety. I’d love to try Sun snuffs, as well as 5 photo. I am at this moment pleasantly overwhelmed. A few years ago when first getting into snuffing, I wrote Dholakia directly and requested a sample. They sent me a silky cloth envelope (first time I had ever received a package in a cloth envelope!) containing several sample packets of Dholakia, including some that I cannot identify, as they are printed (I believe) in Hindi or Gujarhati. I recognize the Sparrow brand, and the Dholakia Ganga, but there are a couple I don’t, including Kamal and one that just says “Tobacco - Strong.” I too enjoy the Indian snuffs I’ve tried, and really want to try the Sun, 5 photos and perhaps, more obscure snuff brands. I imagine the only way to acquire truly obscure brands would be to travel around India a bit; not something I’m prepared to do.

Okay, the Dholakia mystery is solved. (I am blind and cannot read my snuff tins/packets). I now have four packets of Sparrow, one of Sparrow Cool, three of Manjul, two of Ganga and four of Kamal. All were sent to me as a gift from Dholakia a few years ago. As soon as my bullets arrive, I’ll be going back to try them all, but find the Dholakia snuffs I have to be too finely pulverized for other sniffing methods. Back to Sun Snuff… is it still available anywhere? Yes or no? If yes, *where* can I buy and try? TIA.

@eighttrucktires & Mr.O That’s Sun Snuff (probably a Dholakia contract brand) in Switzerland. Sun Snuffs is a different company altogether. I think they didn’t want to sell here anymore after PACT. Nicotine Rush was their importer. Not sure if Mr Snuff is still in contact with them.
That is not the same company, the one with Pari and such is called Sun Snuffs not Sun Snuff
