I agree, Sfingle, CoC seems more invigorating than relaxing, but I like it all the same. Lately my relaxing snuff has been WoS Strasbourg, which I have ordered in bulk. The more I take it, the more certain I am it is based on the Violet Strasbourgs I have been reading about for the historical quiz. I know the Sheffield Exchange list only mentions citron, but I’m really detecting a heavy violet presence in it these days, which is very soothing.
Toque SP Extra all the way!
Second on the WoS Rose and Lavender. I also find F&T Old Paris to be soothing.
Sfingle, I agree, mixed this with Morlaix and brought it up on the comfort part.

My on hand Schmalzlers always seem to have a calming effect.
@perique I feel the same about my Schmalzer’s, I love my SP, but the Schmalzer’s are next in line.
Dholakia Ganja is soothing and relaxing, almost to the point of intoxicating.
I really havnt found a nice relaxing one but in the morning i like to start my day with a big pinch of gletscher prise by poschl’s, that kick in the face is a grate motivator
haven’t seen this on here but I believe that I would have to say Toque’s Absinthe is very calming, seem to take a pinch for sure everynight about an hour before hitting the sack. Also McC SP
WoS Raspberry. Not a huge nic hit, but kinda like a raspberry sucker from your Mom after you’ve been to the dentist. (When I was a kid, lol.)
Snadalwood and Jasmine seem to do it for me, although super Himalaya has a nice “softness” to it that helps pull me back a few notches.
WoS Jockey Club for me.
F&T Dr. JR Justice, reminds me of the little gel bath soap at my grandmas house when i was a kid ,lol.
F&T French Carotte, Morlaix & JR Justice, also Toque Rose, Violet & Lavender, and Dholakia Ganga generally calm me down.
For me it has to be Wilsons Camphor & Mild.
Lately it was Packard´s Club, that floral - perfumey scent seemed to trigger the sleep mode, unfortunately at work…
My comfort snuff would have to be Toque Spanish Gem. It’s complex with all the scents that give you the warm fuzzys like chocolate, vanilla, leather (for those of you who like that sort of thing ), and it’s easy on the nose. I can chain sniff this stuff with little clogging.
Fitting – my wife is having a heart procedure (catheterization-angioplasty-other stuff if needed) tomorrow morning. I have a GH C&M tapbox that’s been opened for quite awhile. The menthol is fading some and now it’s sort of more like SM Blue. For some reason, It seems like the best and only one to have w/me. If I didn’t have it, I’d probably take SM Blue. So, that tells me there’s something comforting about that one for me.
Heart caths are no fun at all. I had one about ten years ago. Fortunately, it was a false alarm. Hopefully it will be the same with your wife. Best wishes.
