Thanks for the kind words all. That’s what keeps me sane, is making stuff. Even stuff as insignificant as a snuff spoon. Bob you’re right that there’s no secret to it, it’s just a matter of doing it. Most people think they can’t but I’ve proven some of them wrong in my own shop. I’ve seen high school kids make great knives they never thought they’d finish, and it’s gratifying. Xander, you made me laugh out loud. 
Dave you truely are a very talented dude! Awesome knives on your site. My favorite was the skinning axe.
Wow @snuffnpuff, you made my day! That picture of the skinning axe has been published more than any other of my work. I’m glad you like it. Danny actually uses it for skinning deer and has kept it looking like the day he got it. Customers like that are a wonderful thing. Compliments like yours are even better, because they always come out of nowhere, like a charm. Cool man, thanks!

Here I thought you dabbled in a little wood carving here and there and then I see the samurai warrior armor and I realize you’re many many levels above that, holy crap! You guys - my head’s getting so swollen my wife won’t speak to me. LOL! Thanks for the very kind words, I really appreciate it. I was lucky to get a little shop time in this morning. Eric, I will keep you in mind when I make another wooden snuff spoon. I found some good material for some today, so maybe I’ll get round to that this weekend.

I’m afraid accurate woodworking is beyond my scope. I’d love to be able to do that, but haven’t the tools or skills to pull it off. I’m just going to have to content myself with the nice boxes that are already available.
