Vathek, you bring up a very interesting point about life that I’ve noticed. I’ve noticed that the higher social cricles I travel in, the more smoking is accepted. I’m not necessairly hinting at cigarettes, but cigars are very common place. I know quite a few MDs that smoke pipes and all. I’ve always been a bit perplexed by that phenomenon. 
@AllanH : Dutch courage or liquid courage refers to courage gained from intoxication by alcohol. Originally the phrase ‘Dutch courage’ referred to the courage that results from indulgence in Dutch gin (jenever), but ‘Dutch courage’ can also apply to the gin itself.
Gin is one of my favourite drinks, trouble is it makes me that depressed when I drink it I don’t do it often. Plymouth Gin is by far and away the best gin IMO. Stefan
