Ok, this happens to me a lot - the non-buzz thing. I was a smoker and infact smoked along with snuff when I started initially. I used to smoke the strongest cigarettes since 15 years and now it is just once in a while.
If I am taking snuff everyday (which I mostly am) then I don’t get the “buzz”. I also don’t get it when I am having fairly perfumed or mentholated snuffs.
But yes, there comes a time when I have not taken snuff the entire day and when I take a pinch of Cheeta or NB Madras in the late evening, I can feel more alert and a slight light headed. I guess thats the buzz.
I also use plain tobacco as a dip (very less quantity) once or twice in a day.
I just guess the issue with nicotine is it changes the effect with the way it is delivered.
But yes, speaking of that, with my usage, I think I’ll develop a tolerance for snuffs eventually and not even get a big hit despite taking the ones with high nicotine content. Unless I completely abstain from snuff for 48 hours or more (which I think is not possible unless I am traveling by flight), I dont think I’ll expect a “buzz” anyway. But yes, if such a time does come, I will report the effects.
