I just got some taxi red and it looks like dip it is so moist. To do fine dry snuff it helps to be hydrated if your nose has no moisture the snuff can not stick to it.so wet your fingers and snuff some moisture in your nose blow out excess then take a big pinch with a short slow sniff.
@basement_shaman I normally come to you for advice, but, i was under the impression that Taxi red is sold in the South African market primarily as a dip, although it can be snuffed. I use it for both and it never dissapoints.
@BigNose I don’t know what they do in S.A. But I have dip scotches and even Bohica and I will try the red. The can before this was not wet just moist. It’s good to learn something new. I never claimed to be the authority on all things tobacco. But I am smarter then the average bear boo boo
I haven’t opened the McChrystals mild lemon yet and the toque grapefruit didn’t work out for me but the other 2 I was very impressed with. 6 photo cheeta- I was really scared I made a bad choice right after I ordered it. I assumed it was going to be this overly dry, nasty, too much of a burn to enjoy kind of snuff. The tin showed up looking a little beat up and extremely old…It looks like something you would find in an American antique shop. I tested a pinch and right away I noticed it was more moist and fluffy than the American scotch. At very first I didn’t like the perfume blast but then it settled and I was very impressed. I immediately wanted another sniff, then another lol. I got a big tin so it would hold me over between orders when my other snuffs ran out. I planned on putting it aside while I work on my other new snuffs but I keep going back to it. I can’t get enough of it. I had no idea I would like it this much. Paul Gotard Apricot- I really like this one. I swear it seems like it has a hint of chocolate. I love the smell and the apricot scent stays around for awhile. It stood out even with some 6 photo cheeta still in the nose. It is really moist and enjoyable, plus it was cheap so I will be sure to try out a couple of other Paul Gotards on my next order.
Scratch that. Just tried McChrystals mild lemon…YUM! @Mouse Thank you for the suggestion. So far I can’t pick a favorite between these 3.
