How do US scotches compare?

I think the ultimate in nicotine is had by first take a BIG bump of schmalzler like Perlesreuter and follow it with an American scotch immediately and the settle back for the ride. The schmalzler gives a nice smell in the nose and releases the nicotine slowly while the scotch hits immediately.

After having thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful (and I mean it) scotch samples I received from @Xander, I can say with the utmost confidence that the strongest snuff I’ve ever (enjoyably, mind) had in my nose is Dingler Magnet Menthol. It’s really very very… *intense* - so, if you can try it and resist, you’re definitely ready for scotches =)

@Nachman: Good call, though I do nearly the opposite; i.e. a big blast of Garrett, etc, and a moister one, like Taxi, Gawith Apricot, or even Latakia AO!

I must update my previous statement - I received a tin of GH Irish D, and BOY IS IT POWERFUL! Actually, it kinda tastes like scotches as well, but I find it a bit stronger (possibly stronger than Dingler Magnet would be if it had no menthol).

Pleased to say I’m loving these scotches. Still determining preferences but so far I like we garrett, rooster, dental mild, tops mild and navy plain.
