Honest snuff

Honest and Rooster being the only american snuffs I have tried so far, but being a big fan of toasts, I have to say Honest is very very good. as mentioned earlier, it does have a similar grind and moisture level to IHT 22, and that familiar leather flavor, just adds a little smoke. If you like toasts and flavor, but haven’t tried an american scotch, get on the train to flavor country!!

@Bart I´m far from being through all the US scotches in my collection, but the Standard and Honest are among the best. I´d call them both rather “mature” in comparisson to the Rooster, which can be a bit too much with its heavy flavour. Others called the Standard “well rounded” and that´s just fitting. It doesn´t mean it´s a soft snuff. But it lacks the (often enough) distracting BBQ-ness and isn´t too smokey. It has a punch, though. It´s not very unsimilar to the Honest. The only ones I´d rebuy for sure, so far. And they´re the only ones I can see myself empty in a reasonable time, whereas the Rooster will last for about 2 years, I guess.

This Honest is a great snuff. So much so that I went ahead and ordered the large tin. I like almost all the american snuffs but this one has a certian meduim to it that is between the burn and the smokiness that I like.

Free Tin of Honest this month when your order totals 49.95 or more! Tom (while supplies last of course)

That’s so funny because I have 49.95 with your name on it right here!
