Fubar SNAFU plain and medicated

I have major apprehensions about something called: SNAFU Medicated! It reminds me of an MD who got his degree at a Barber’s School_!_

i dont really get much nicotine out of it. it just barely kills the nicotine craving. its gotten to the point i need to chain snuff before the craving goes away lol. i mean like a pinch every five minutes or so. i would bet that white elephant would be just barely satisfying too lol

oddly though i seem to feel more satisfied nicotine wise with menthols even if the nic in it is low

Menthol slows metabolism of nicotine.

Also causes formation of new nicotinic receptors. Double edged sword I guess.

@moshekerr, a loanword, methinks; or does the f-b-r root carry similar connotations in Hebrew?
I know, necromancy–but I was not the reanimator.
@snuffsahoy, is that true?  In that case I think both effects would be beneficial; the first, for longer, more sustained delivery; the advantage of the second is clear enough.
Thank you for increasing my fund of knowledge!  And for giving me yet another reason (as if I needed one, lol) to love menthols.

Ten years later I decided to try Snafu Plain. I don’t know why I never tried it before, but it’s very good! Super fine grind, like the white ones, but it’s light brown, oiled it seems, and has a nice natural tobacco taste. I’ve been mixing it with the 6photo Mysore Sandalwood a bit, and it tones down the scent nicely. I don’t find the nicotine level too much at all. It’s powerful yes, but if you know how to pinch it correctly it’s just fine.

@mrmanos, yes, really nice plain snuff it is. By the way, if you have a tin of Cheeta Chhap GUL, add 10% ghee or clarified butter (or mineral oil) and you’ll end up with Snafu Plain clone.

@mrmanos @volunge while it is plain i find it has a very faint indian kind of sweet aroma in the very background. Its a good snuff i like it too.

Fubar Snafu Medicated is also a very good snuff, its my favorite medicated snuff because it has almost no bite when sniffed no sharpness on the intake, but still has a powerful menthol camphor effect with a very faint tobacco background. It is so smooth it feels like snuffing clouds… and a few seconds later the icy effect hits you.

I will have to try the medication version of it. @volunge: I haven’t tried using clarified butter to mix in, but I noticed that the local natural food store sells little jars of it. I’ll get some and try what you recommend.

Do you guys know how Fubar Snafu Plain compares to 6 photo LA Natural ? aroma, color, grind, moisture, nicotine etc.
Thanks in advance
