@ Mr. O. I’ve not had the Taxi Menthol, myself, but I have had the Ntsu Menthol. Its really not anything comparable to an English, or even a German style menthol. I would almost decribe it as a minty-mentholy scenting rather than a medicated snuff. The ammonia fumes make any sinus clearing effects of menthol somewhat superfluous. I suppose I’ll try the Taxi Menthol someday. The Taxi Rock (Spearmint) is pretty good.
The Taxi menthol was, in my opinion, rather “bad”.
Taxi Rock however, is awesome!
It’s hard to imagine anyone doing NTSU for the subtleties of it’s bouquet, but that’s just me. To me it’s scent is irrelevant. To criticize it would be like criticizing the wind for blowing. If you air it out, you would ruin it. It would be like getting rid of all the weather in your area.
If we are recommending strong plain style snuffs… Guess then I would add Stokers Plain to the list; I would call it a “Toasted Scotch” has a nice little kick!!!
Thanks for all the replys. I tried to mix it with hdt but it only clogged up my nose. However I have really addapted to the DW and love it more and more each day. The ammonia doesnt bother me at all. Kind Regards Jo Asle
