I can empathize with you. I’m overwhelmed with the choices, and haven’t even really started in on them yet. My resolution is to settle on 2-3 max in each catagory ,all though I may have to go througn 100 to get there; couple of Scotches, couple of florals, and fruits, etc. Is this even possible ? I see the issue like this: too many choices, to easy to indulge 24 x 7, availablility, and affluence (the ability to afford to do so). 25 years ago, you sure couldn’t get F&T or Wilsons in Florida, nor could I afford to keep 4 or 5 6-packs of European beers on-hand to enjoy on a whim. As a kid, we never even had Coca-cola or any other soft drinks at home. So with the advent of Internet sources, increased affluence, etc. we now can enjoy the terrifying experience of sellecting our favorite national and international snuffs out of hundreds available, rather than the 5 or 6 sold at the corner drug-store within walking distance.

Of course I take my time with snuff orders. Only a few at a time. Less then a dozen go through most of them before I even reorder.
I also like the fact that snuff is inexpensive.I just took the wife out for Indian lunch yesterday, and that would have been a decent snuff order. So I just don’t mind spending 20-40 bucks a month on something I like and enjoy. My other hobbies being DVD and CD collecting is a more expensive hobby. But there isn’t any DVDs or CDs I am currently looking for, so, well, you know what I’m sayin’.
I find trying different snuffs every week and writing reviews has kept my mind off my old smoking habit. I was spending 50 pounds a month on that, so even spending 20 or 30 pounds a month on snuff means I’m saving money. Like the old saying, “you can’t afford not to”. I think I will invest in some vacuum storage jars.
I tend to indulge moderately in alchohol and, now, snuff. 30 bucks worth of snuff (at $3/10g) would last me 3 months, or longer! I’m still working on my first order, which I got in early March and which was two sample assortments of American snuff from NicRush, a McCrystals O&G, and a Poschl Packards…about 45g total, or less than 2 oz. I figure I could go the rest of the month, and probably into mid-May on what I have left (and maybe into July thanks to the generosity of tom502 with sending me even MORE samples). But my FAVORITES of the bunch are dwindling, and so another order is in the works.
I have maybe(or will have) like 60 snuffs, as a newby I just bought a few orders of stuff I wanted, and I have yet to even slightly empty a can yet. I think what I have would last all year or more, and I snuff all day everyday.
