Bernards

Just to let you guys know we now have pretty much the full line of Bernard’s in stock and online: MrSnuff Some are very limited just to see how things go. If I have missed anything you would like, let me know. thanks Dave

why do you make me wish I had more money and could afford an order now? That is awesome.

Dave I sent a mail from the site with a couple of questions about US shipping and a couple of recommendations for snuffs i would like to see. Thanks

Sorry guys, I have had to disable the bernards. Our IT guy royally cocked things up and the prices displayed were actually the savings off RRP not the price. He put the code in the wrong spot or something. Sorry for the hassle, but we would go out of business if we sold everything at 96% off! (thanks for pointing it out…you know who you are). Dave

This is my first post here (I’m a long time lurker though). I was actually just going to message you about the prices because they seemed too good to be true! Also, are the bottles pre-filled with snuff or is the weight just the estimated capacity that they would hold? Thanks in advance, you’ll be seeing a huge Bernard’s order from me soon either way. I’m glad I finally took the plunge and joined this great forum!

I believe it’s just an empty bottle with capacity estimate.

Bernards is back up on the site. I really appreciate the emails from several of you pointing out the prices being completely screwed up rather than just taking advantage of an obvious mistake. Dave

If I had known about it Dave I would’ve taken full advantage. lol

I have a question, if anyone wants to answer. Which Bernards are the real schmalzlers? I’m pondering ordering some soon, but I just want to know which are the real schmalzlers. Thanks. And I do wish they had them in 25g tins. Tappers don’t seen good with schmalzlers, based on the Poschl and Sterneckers I have.

@tom502, check the reviews and maybe you will get your answer there. I’m posting this as advice, not trying to be nasty!

Thanks, I thought maybe I was asking for something too detailed, but some people like questions like this. I know I can probably figure it out myself.

Thanks Filek. I’ll do more research myself as well. Not sure when, or even if, I’ll get them, I have a lot of Poschl and Sternecker schmalzlers at hand now, but I was curious for possible future action. I realize I am new to schmalzlers, but I have been snuffing for a while, I guess whenever I joined the forum, and I’m kinda thinking, I like this style the best.

Isn’t Brasil Doppelt-Fermentiert the standard schmalzler?

Klostermischung is another Bernards schmalzler

@Tom502: IMHO Aecht Altberischer Schmalzler is the best there is. I have only found it in the 10g tap box so it is fairly expensive and also is often out of stock. For those reasons I snuff more Perlesreuter, but the Aecht is one you should try. The Brasil Doppelt Fermentiert is good too.

@n9inchnails: Klostermischung might be a schmalzler but it sure doesn’t feel like one - I found it utterly horrible, dry and smelly-footy and nothing more.

Klostermischung is definitely a Schmalzler, but it should be very moist…

Someone ask Bernards and settle the debate. They were very helpful when we inquired about Zwiefacher.
