Apricot Snuffs

my pleasure @TobaccyLassy, I’ll watch it this evening! went ahead and watched it, good stuff!

The WoS Apricot Menthol is rather aces in my book, pretty menthol-ey and a nice, fresh apricot scent- very similar to their unmentholated apricot.

WOS Apricot is one of my faves. I just mix it with Gletcherprise if I want some menthol.

So quick update: Mixture : 40% Hedges and 60% McCh Apricot. Color : upon mixing seems to just blend to the med ground med brown Hedges. Grind : Medium Moisture : Medium but only put in box/bullet that you will use for the day. Seems to want to dry out fairly quickly. Vitamin N : Medium but a tade more than most. Flavor : At first intake I get a sensational menthol/vick’s type crispness rushing through my nasal cavaties. As for the McCh Apricot I found I was waiting… waiting… waiting… oh there it is… then gone. The Apricot is a very nice natural apricot smell but way too brief. The Hedges is just too powerful and dominates thoughout. I will add about 20% more McCh Apricot and see if that helps the flavoring any. After adding more Apricot it does help the flavoring come out more but not quite what I was after when posting this thread. In my opinion the Hedges is just too much menthol for the fruit flavoring to overcome. I am awaiting my order for Toque Peach and Grapefruit and once that arrives I will be loading that in with this mixture in order to attain my menthol fruity mana snuff. More to come.

Even though I don’t care for menthol, I have found apricot snuffs to be the best mixers. My standard mixture is two-thirds apricot snuff with one-third strong scotch. The apricot seems to blend particularly well with the smoky scotches. This mixture has a really nice kick, and is relatively inexpensive. Toque has by far the best flavor of the apricots I’ve tried; the others have an artificial taste to me. The problem with Toque apricot is that the flavor isn’t as strong as the others, and is easily overwhelmed.

No doubt TOQUE by far the best so far I tasted, use it most wake up with toast and marmalade, did not like PG apricot at all in the tap boxes… Bought 2 time to trade em

I tried the silver dollar apricot and the menthol in it brings out the apricot nicely.

I’ll have to try some Toque next time. I have some coming in the mail shortly.

Well I’ve added the whole 25g tin of Toque peach into the mix and boy does it make a difference. It seems to offer more of the balance I was looking for. A nice complementary fruit hit to the apricot already present. Over all not an all day snuff mix but a good change of pace… very nice in the outdoors to bring out the scents more. This will be one I will be using while doing yard work this summer.

Tried Silver Dollar Apricot today. Not bad. Is it just me, or is it slightly mentholated already? Didn’t smell it at first, but it had a bit of a sting to it when I snuffed it.

Toque peach … Best peach snuff … Toque apricot … Best apricot snuff hands down… I don’t know how Roderick does it… But I just revisits some toques tonight ( after a little while away from them… Like 6 weeks or more ) and Roderick is a master blender for sure

I always have toque toast and marmalade and toque quit … In a daily or bi daily rotation SORRY TO BE OFF TOPIC

I just revisited my tin of Toque Peach too…its been about a month and a half since I last touched it. The peach scent seems to have gotten deeper. When I first opened it, it was so fresh that a week of snuffing it smelled a bit acidic/ammonia like than I would’ve preferred. But now its perfect.

@TobaccyLassy… amazing… We are so concerned about storing snuff correct so it doesn’t fade…or u gotta let it fade or let it sit for a bit or air it to get it right … Lol… I just love the challenges…I gotta go… Time for my snuff bath… I exfoliate with coarse SA snuff… Grind does wonder for the pores…lol

@AANYCAARDS And to think I was wasting time with steam facials. I better get my coarse snuffs out.

snuffnpuff - I second your choice. My alternate personality (the less tolerant one) thirds your choice. great for stuffed nose. On occasion, when not wishing to soak 3 bandanas, I use Fubar medicated and W0S apricot. But yours, snuffnpuff, is the ultimate

@asieg33 Glad you like it.
