I fly for work twice a week. I use snus, dip, and snuff and usually take three cans and a selection of five or so tins of snuff along. I never have had anyone even look twice at me. When I use snuff, I like to do it very openly so everyone can see its not anything strange.
i do suppose i meant people like that i have encountered are more likely to get the job they are meant to be doing done, and tend to be more trustworthy.

I have two of the Ti snuff vials, but it’s a pity that they’re so small, do you think they could be fabricated to hold 8g or so of snuff?
Here’s my take. Personally I would keep my snuff in my luggage and use Snus, Oliver twist, etc. Call me paranoid, but most people I encounter do not even know what nasal snuff is. I would say just to avoid any potential misunderstandings. I hate to tell someone to not snuff at a particular time, however, personally I care to avoid issues.
I suppose the reticence to use snuff because of what other may mistake it for is well founded. Why cause a commotion if one must not. Sure its legal and may provide opportunity to dispel confusion and perhaps open someone to try it- but unfortunately it doesn’t always go as we would hope. While I have yet to use snuff on a flight I have and regularly use Snus. Its what I use and may opt to stick with it for the ease and discretion. In the end that little seat pocket card says something along the lines of smokeless tobacco being disallowed so I suppose I am a terrible person.
@SgtJon in flights from the UK i haven’t seem any cards saying smokeless tobacco is not allowed only e-cigs are banned. I can kind of agree with the ecig thing since the vapor may be annoying to some people. Cant see snuff being an issue unless security at the airport think its something else
I snuff discreetly on domestic flights. On long international hauls, I tend to use snuss, practically the only time I use it. You need an anodyne in economy class.
I use snuff openly on flights. When I was still smoking, it was actually on the flights when I used snuff most heavily. Only once my snuff-tins went twice through the x-ray, and I supposed it was because I had unlabeled alunium tins, which i carry in my pocket. However, none asked anything, so this is just my guess.
@lunecat, okay for those who live in the free world. In Singapore, the shopping mall poliice state across the pond from where I live, someone I know was arrested for taking an aspirin in a night club and detained for 24 hours observation because an undercover cop assumed he was taking ecstasy.
I have a beard and a septum piercing if I scratch my ass they think I’m a drug mule but I find causing aproblem with security fun as it seems the way of life for skateboarders and security to quarrel a bit take a pinch while waiting to go through the metal detectors just to screw with them
