Roderick, and Toque are awesome. I plan on trying many, many snuffs, but I suspect Roderick will be my main connection. I’m eagerly awaiting his launch of new stuff.
yeah my nose tells me which snuff to use. Often I’ll literaly feel it’s abscence in my nose. I know that sounds strange but I’am sure some others can relate. Often I’ll pick my snuffs first by the grind, right now I’am going for a toast it feels like HDT actualy. Though sometimes I’ll crave a scents that my nose doesn’t want and I’ll go for it then be disapointed when my nose gets unhappy with me.

For Wilson’s in bulk I go to Wilson’s, usually mail order but if I’m passing that way (it’s only 70 miles from here) I’ll phone in advance and collect at the mill. I’ve done the same with Samuel Gawith snuffs but I don’t find myself going near there so often so it’s mail order from My Smoking Shop. A while back I emailed Gawith Hoggarth about getting their snuffs in bulk (I like their KB and Plain) but didn’t get an answer so they lost a sale. A similar problem with McChrystal’s. Their web site is still “broken” as regards getting O&G in bulk (I wanted some for my dad) and I got no response to a email detailing the problem with their web site. Their loss.
Sometimes emails get lost or overlooked, Tony. I get flooded with them, and I don’t even have a business. You may want to give them a second chance. I too am too much a freshman to buy in bulk, however, I do have my favorited noted for future purchaces. There are still hundreds to try yet.
On choosing snuff sometimes I grab a random one and hey, I wanted/needed that.
