THE BEST SNUFF OF ALL TIME!

SWS Havana Toast. I contemplate on whether or not to fiend out on this last 15g tin or keep on saving it for a rainy day, this is the best snuff I have ever had. I love toast, and keep more than a few on hand, but I would trade them all for more of this and never look back. Sure the rarity of it may drive it up on the list a bit, but even if I had all I wanted, it would still shine as a true masterpiece.

Spanish Jewel as it was named is my choice for all time.

Damn! Sure wish I could have tried Spanish Jewel.

6Photo Kailash! I know I keep throwing it out there, but I think it is amazing.

^ I don’t think, I know!

I don’t know… I can only comment on snuffs currently on the market. I never tried the snuffs made two to four hundred years ago. “Of all time” covers a lot!

Yep, 6 Bronto used to do a great Primordial Souper Kailash, but the best was the one that ol’ Sprug from the third cave on the left used to make. Because of everyone being too busy snuffing his wares it took them another two hundred years after they invented the wheel to come up with the axle.

The best snuff ever made? That’s a tall order. The best snuff I just snuffed was a dime sized portion of HDT side by side in each of what’s left of my nostrils =)) I think I need a nap. Damn that stuff is good!

Fleur de Cafe…Easily. I didn’t appreciate it when I first got it, but now I adore it so. It’s just so damn good. Cheers, @chefdaniel

Toque Whisky And Honey till now

The first batch of Abraxas in the glass jars. I had 3 of them. All great. I tried 2 more different batches and while good, just don’t live up to the memory. I think just the moisture content changed so my taste may have changed and maybe even a perfectly preserved jar from that batch wouldn’t live up to that perfect memory.

Not to be a smartass, but, my favorite snuff of all time is what snuff that I am in the mood for at the moment. Hence why I am a huge proponent of diversity and this transcends snuff as well. Food (I love “ethnic” food), craft beer (so many craft brews, so little time, I make my attempts to branch out and try varieties that I have never imbibed before), single malts, small batch bourbons, tequila, philosophical texts and paradigms, hiking trails, cigars ,etc. Variety is the spice of life!! So it would be impossible for me to pick one all-time favorite snuff. I would say that the best snuff is the one snuff that you have a hankering for at the that very moment.

Yep that original batch in the glass jars was something special I think he used more liquory goodness in the original than in the subsequent batches, when you open the jar you can smell the liquor.

That first batch of a few dozen jars was made from the same tobacco that Prince Regent is made from, basically I had some traditional carottes that had taken me an age to find anyone still making. Most of it made the first Abraxas premium batch and the rest I laid down for what was to become Prince Regent. It is far too expensive to use unblended in a permanent production snuff and it took me a long while to find a replacement of sufficient quality. I had no intention at that point going into regular production and that kind of happened by degrees. The sauce, and the amount of liquor used, is exactly the same as in the current PBS. Hope that is of some interest.
