I agree with Dr. Hanna that the Drama Reserve is a great hot weather smoke. There are others in the series that should be considered as well, IMHO. Yenice Agonya and Smyrna No. 1 are also good for this time of year, especially in the southern US. I must also advocate for one of my favorites: Wessex Gold Brick. The name says it well; it’s a solid chunk of tobacco that requires some preparation and a very sharp knife. Well worth the effort, for me at least. It’s neither bright nor dark in color or flavor. It hits the middle notes perfectly if cut and rubbed pretty finely and allowed a bit of drying time. I like mine just this side of crispy and rubbed to a coarse shag. I smoke it in a Peterson Silver Spigot that Barry Levin gave me for my birthday shortly before he passed away. Goes great with an ice cold, sweaty Shandy and a few spoons of WoS Lemon Toast.
I’m normally a cigarette smoker, but when I do smoke out of a pipe it’s either Peter Stokkebye Turkish Export or the Norwegian Blend. Both with 2 cuts rolling or pipe. I always get the rolling version as that’s all the tobacco shop carries. Way more mild of a smoke than your typical pipe tobacco, which I like. I don’t like those as cig’s though. For a cigarette I go with the Peter Stokkebye Amsterdam Shag. YUM! If you smoke cigarettes try out this one. It is the most pleasant RYO I have ever had.
C+D Orient Express. It has the smokiness that just reminds me of backyard BBQ! That and a good Hefe beer and your set.
A nice sweet pipe tobacco smoke…hmmmmm I say some Lane Limited BCA or LL 1-Q
I’m going to add mac baren vanilla cream for the simple reason it’s neither gloopy like some aromatics and nor is it overly sweet.
@R25 nice blend but bites like a crocodile…

Yes! This is my favorite aro (and about the only one I smoke). It is the aro for those who don’t like aros. Very pleasant. Like most McB’s, one does have to smoke it at a reasonable pace. I only smoke the flake, have not tried the ready-rubbed. It is also has a really nice room note, if that is a concern.
