Running before Walking - A Scotch question

@Valiant - I’d guess that a red an white crossed ribbon would be W. E. Garretts Scotch; it a very strong scented scotch.

The one on the right I’m guessing?

I do not have one of either of those … yet . :slight_smile:

@Valiant‌ - to answer your question of which is my faveorite, I think I will delay the decsion until i have tried them all :slight_smile: I do like the Swisher Wild Cherry ( Mr Snuff has it ) and Tube Rose ( Food Lion ).

@MisterPaul, Actually I think it looked different than that one. The ribbon is larger and is white with red trim and makes one large “X” across the front of the label instead of three crosses. Plus I don’t recall it said W. E. Garrett on it. Watch I’ll be wrong about both. I don’t trust my memory much but, *thank you* for taking the photograph. When I go back I’ll snap a photo of it with my not-so-smart phone. I haven’t tried taking photographs with it yet but it’s worth a shot. (pun?) It’s a pay as you go phone that cost me all of $20.00. (Also called a, “burner” by drug dealers on the HBO must see TV series, The Wire). =D> Or if I find a photograph of it on the Net I’ll post it here. @The_HP, Understood. I have yet to open my can of Railroad Sweet. I don’t want to open a fresh can when I have so many open already. I wish we had a Food Lion here! We had one where I used to live in NC but it closed down before I left there.

ps: I didn’t see it on Mr. Snuff.

@The_HP Don’t forget Buttercup.

@The_HP Don’t forget Buttercup.

Never heard of it - so now I have another to be on the look out for …

@The_HP - Kind of most similar to Society the olde buttercup, rather nice as sweet scotches go to be fair, maybe not as floral aas Society [which isn’t that floral in any case!] Worth a punt if you can get it.

Red Seal Sweet is another dry American Scotch if you can find it. I have a giant glass jar of it that I scored on ebay, unopened, for $7.00 Maybe it isn’t a Scotch after all, no smokiness, but reddish and moderately sweet, easy to take and inexpensive. I wish I lived close to a Food Lion. It seems I’m out of luck here in the land of Copenhagen( Colorado).
