Postage Stamp Snuff Sample.

@aamon ? I thought the whole Idea was you send a sample to one person and they send you a sample back ? What is this about taking out and replacing ? I think the rules are getting to complicated.

@yisraeldov ahh yea that sounds simpler. For some idea I was thinking about the tobacco parcel mentioned earlier though with a letter instead. My apologies it has been a long day.Ā  I-)

Chime time as time is short to do so do to my location in the Northern pan handle of Idaho. Currently almost none to some at best net access. Reset to go from page one with the basic simplest way to make a simple exchange with others without extra expense or to much effort. Start small and it will grow to whatever people care to take it from there when it comes to sample size. Plenty enough snuff will fit in a letter envelope for both to figure if they like it or not and some for a later date to try as to evaluate opinion. Both parties agree ā€œTRADEā€ they both agree makes them happy. Many small sample or just one will not at all be making the envelope a bulge with common sense. ā€œprice of a first class stampā€ is still the idea. My offer-up list for swap will be posted the beginning of next week HERE when I get back to home base. (June-5) Will be very out for further comment till next weekend as no internet access until then as of ā€œnowā€

My little true and simple story:
a fellow snuffer said once that he didn’t have access to european snuffs but only indians.I told him if he’d like to send him some free samples(like the Dholakia Company does).
He pm me his address and I sent him some stuff.A big envelope about 100g snuff in small bags.Total weight 150g.From Greece to India registered letter cost about 6-7 euro. Not a very big deal!
He is happy and I’m glad that some fellow snuffer is enjoying some stuff that otherwise he couldn’t.
Maybe the simplest idea is someone make a request(in logical scale)and anyone volunteer…pm him…etc…
sorry for my english,I hope you get my meaning

I kicked this thread back up at the suggestion of nicmizer and because postage stamp samples are just a great idea. As mentioned previously in this thread, it’s a great way to try new snuffs without the risk of investing in something that turns out not to be likable. It’s also great for trying unique homemade snuffs. Maybe some of those who are interested in the practice can chime in so new exchanges can take place?

Mr. Rogers commemorative US postal stamps are coming out soon! Been informed that they are of the ā€œscratch and sniffā€ variety that have never been released before. I’m not for sure but hope they will smell like his trusty Cardigan sweater.

I’ve seen this done elsewhere with success: A ā€˜free sample for the next poster’ game. The person who kicks it off will say something like ā€œOffering a 20g tin of l260.ā€ Now there’s L260 up for anyone to request, but the person who takes it has to offer up their own sample for anyone else to grab to keep the game going. Something such as: ā€œI’ll take that l260. Offering a 8g tin of Highland Ice.ā€ And the game goes on. Addresses exchanged over PM It might be best to include what country you’re from when offering, such as 'I’ll take that l260. Offering a 8g tin of Highland Ice. Ships from USA"

Works great. Used this wonderful concept last week with great results with @SammyD13.
