Lol, we both were. I was all the way to the pay now screen last week, when I ended up purchasing a Lutz and Weiss 900 Niello silver box. Now my snuff box funds are gone for the rest of the year. Or until he makes some more. I would like to see just a wooden tap box with out the spoon also. Is that something he has made in the past? Possibly the future?
@Mouse, a sandalwood box is a nice idea. Actually, not all sandalwood is scented, and a lump of the scented wood is pretty expensive. A good friend of mine used to make keris, those wiggly malay daggers you may have seen, with their wooden handles. He was a wood nut, always on the look out for rare woods. Even though most of it is grown in Indonesia, it’s rare and expensive.
