NTSU

Took a good pinch of NTSU up each nostril. Squeesed my nose and it stayed there.Didnt bother to leave the lid off. New container, lots of ammonia. Took a couple of breaths through my nose and my lungs felt as if they were on fire. Seems ammonia and lungs dont get allong to well!. Learnt to leave the lid off for a couple of minutes, take the snuff from the surface and use a little SG apricot first to moisten the nose (helps keep the NTSU in place). Not a favourite snuff, just use a pinch ocassionaly when I am desperate for a full blown nicoteen hit, mostly after meals.

Of the three Gwayi types of snuff I’ve tried, NTSU is easily my #3. But then again, as Xander has said, NTSU is more about raw power than taste, where as the other two I’ve had…Babaton and Taxi Red, have pleasant flavors.

Found a new source of NTSU in the U.K. Its www.downsouthgroup.com. Cost is 99p for a 14g plastic container, there is no minimum postage and postage and packaging charges seems about at cost. You can email them and they will tell you the postage before you order. Hope this is of interest. Last time I ordered NTSU from another u.k site I was hit for ÂŁ3.95 postage for uk delivery. Debit card was so traumatised, it is refusing to come out of my wallet. Wife will have to pay for my snuff now (I hope).

Yes, that link was posted before. It should probably get a permanent place in the FAQ section, under shops. If I was in the UK, I would buy from them. I could use 10 tubs a month (maybe 5 if alternating with Taxi).

Is there any difference between NTSU original (black) and NTSU menthol (green) as far as nicoteen is concerned?

Not that I can tell. The menthol isn’t much like an English menthol though.

Looks like many of my fellow Londoners will be introduced to NTSU when they visit SA for the football. Could get quite interesting when they visit the “racially intigrated” bars and start singing the popular un pc version of “Men of Harlech” which starts " Men of Harlech stop your dreaming, cant you see their spearpoints gleaming" Bet I get a hammering for this off the pc brigade, but I cant resist it!

Anyone fancy a pinch of… cake?

@volunge Ha! That’s amazing! What a lucky grandfather to have family to know exactly what he loves  that really raises the bar. For our birthdays our kids/wives/signif’ others should make us all cakes that look like a cell phone browsing SnuffHouse

@ar47, actually, according to confectioner’s post, that particular one was meant for a ‘young lady who turned 105’. https://www.facebook.com/lethabocakes/posts/our-version-of-the-snuff-cake-it-was-such-and-honour-to-make-this-for-young-lady/1495379440520755/

Snuff definitely is a women’s thing there. Some more pics to illustrate this:

True point on Snuffhouse cake made! I find this forum even more addictive than a snuff itself.

Ntsu and taxi is so boring to me it’s all I see everyday here in SA. I salivate at the sight of the hundreds of varieties of European and Indian snuff out there… Postage is too expensive to South Africa…

I love NTSU. I found a store in England online called the South African shop that sells it by the roll. I emailed the owner and asked if he could or would sell me a few rolls and ship them to me in Colorado. To my surprise he said yes! Now I order a roll of green and one of black twice a year. It’s a little pricey with shipping but I enjoy the coarse grind and ammonia.

There are at least three UK-based shops which sell NTSU and TAXI.

https://www.southafricanshop.co.uk/store/show\_category/2379 (worldwide shipping)

https://kalaharimoon.co.uk/search?q=snuff

https://www.southafricanshop.com/?s=snuff&post\_type=product

It’s possible to procure it directly from SA: https://www.bidorbuy.co.za/jsp/tradesearch/TradeSearch.jsp

12 x 14 g for USD 5 (EUR 4.20). You’ll need to set up an account there. Contact their online helpdesk in case of any problems while registering. Ask the seller about shipping rates to your country. It was about EUR 20 to EU. I haven’t placed my order yet.

If you don’t see snuff at bidorbuy, return after a day or two and you’ll find it.

I got NTSU and Taxi red today , they seem in no way any more potent than Kendal Brown…if anything i think the taxi red is less potent…

I got caught up in the hype, but my nose senses differently…

don’t get me wrong they are good snuffs, but if you are from the UK, I personally think you would be better off just buying kendal brown…as its slightly darker, a little bit more scent and the same nic hit.

the thing that really does have a notable higher nicotine hit are the white indian snuffs, white elephant and dholakia white…im not sure they are as long staying as kendal brown or ntsu, but they definitely hit harder initially.
