Neti Pots

Mine just came in the mail today. And yeah, it was the free promotional from Neil Meds Facebook page. Haven’t used it yet, but I’m sure I will be either tonight or tomorrow.

My Neti pot is on the way thanks for the tip.

@ Roderick Have you herad of the, “Rhino Horn” netti pot? It is made from plastic and is a very effective shape. Comes with a portioning spoon for the salt. This is the best one I’ve used yet, have a look. http://www.tqmpropmgm.com/rhinohorn/index.htm Regards, snort

@ Roderick I think I paid $12 CAD for the Rhino Horn. Although it does seem a little pricey for what it is, the shape certainly is optimal and it is the best I’ve used. BTW I’ve just received a shipment of snuff from The Snuff Store which includes Toque peach. It certainly smells good. I hope I don’t over-nicotine myself.

I’ve been having some nasal issues, that are hard to explain, though because of it, I rarely snuff anymore, and when I do, I regret it, it just seems to take a hold of my throat, ears, it just makes a miserable experience, and it’s hard to explain. Maybe it’s the weather, maybe it’s the dip and chew I’ve been using, but no, those 2 things alone don’t do this, it’s something about the snuff, and it seems regardless of my technique, as I even used a non-sniff technique the other day, and was literally miserable the rest of the day. It’s really frustrating, as when I 1st used snuff, I loved it and had no problems for a long time. Anyway, I’m gonna lay off the snuff for summer, and just yesterday I used for the 1st time, this NeilMed nasal rinse bottle. It’s the same idea as a Neti Pot(which I have as well), but it’s a squeeze bottle. So, I used it once, along with a saline package made for it, and it seemed easier than the Neti Pot, and was not bad at all. I’m gonna use this at least once a day. Maybe I have some sinus infection and don’t know it?

@tom502 If there is some sort of irritation going on up there, not infection related, then a saline rinse will work wonders. The saline promotes healing and flushing out the area will keep irritants clear of the area. My mom used to have me gargle salt water when I had a sore throat. You really should see a doctor though. If it is an infection the saline rinse will keep the symptoms at bay and make you feel a little better but it won’t clear up the infection. This could be a simple thing that could be cured in a matter of days and you’ll be back to happily snuffing away.
