I would like to see dimensions added to the descriptions. That is a key bit of information for snuff boxes, flask, etc. I bought a couple things I might not have had that information been readily available.
@Spam – I only got my Poschl box from Mr. Snuff and it is the big one. They have different sizes for sale, sure you didn’t order the small one by mistake?
I gots me a Poschl snuffbox from Mr.Snuff. I believe the dimensions of mine are also 1 1/2", 1", 1/3" . I was expecting a bigger snuff box, but this is still a lovely box!
I would have expected the 3 x 2 x 3/4 as well based how they were described earlier in the thread.
@howdydave - I ordered this one, https://mrsnuff.com/store/mcchrystals-snuff-p-1082.html?osCsid=fa311bfdda6c94162091b60c8270feb0, that looks as if it would be the same as your Poschl one. Seems like @MikeMoose has had the same issue as me, I wonder when they changed?
Only reason I’m a little bitter is that I wouldn’t have bought one if I knew what size it was going to be; it only holds an afternoon’s worth of snuff.
@spam and MikeMoose: sorry for the delay, I just found this post. I am not aware of the sizes of the snuff boxes changing at all. They definitely should not have. They are supposed to be 3x2x11/2 (external of course). However if you don’t like it just send it back. I’ll refund your money without question.
Can you do me a favor and email me or post a picture here of the snuffbox next to a ruler and I’ll complain to the manufacturer. I have no idea why they would change the size on me.

@mr.snuff, I’ve already returned mine. I must say your customer service guy (Patrick) was excellent.
I love my little Poschl box, but it was also much smaller than I expected. Here is a picture of the little guy next to a ruler. Let me know if you need a different shot.
WOW. Guys I am truly very sorry. This is the issue of course being the other side of the pond…I don’t get to physically look at any of the product on a daily basis. I will find out what happened here. It may be I put a typo in the product code last order, or (more likely) they sent the wrong boxes.
@dogwalla: you can clearly take good photos. Can you take a shot of that box on a white background (sheet of paper is fine) so we can change the product pictures and description. That would help me out greatly.

@Slide: yes, I agree. Dimensions are critical. I can’t believe we overlooked that. I will go through all the product descriptions and make the changes.
