JNF snuffs

Janta White Horse White snuff is very similar to dholakia white! Good nicotine and no special added scent.

Has anyone tried their herbal snuff ‘Crystal’?

I like the Punjabi with the turban guy on the label. It’s brown, fluffy and oiled. Fine grind and the scent is rather subtle for an Indian snuff. I find it very good and a 40 gram tin gets used up pretty fast. I’ve also tried and liked the black snuff by Janta. Haven’t tried the white or the non tobacco yet. A nice addition to my regular Indian snuffs.

@bolbam420 I just try the Janta Crystal. It is a completely white very fine powder with a elegant sweet “Mentos” candy smell and a very moderate menthol on. I like,  its different from what we know.

I tried Janta Red Label Black. I got a 40g tub and it is still  full. I literally only had 4 pinches and i have the tub for like 3 months.

It is a good snuff in nicotine and menthol ! i also like the grind and the black colour.

The part that i personally dont like is the scent which i cant enjoy.

I ve read people call it an insence type of smell.

To me it smell exactly like a Christian church.

I think i am gonna literally use my next pinch of it at Easter to feel more religious lol. :-P

Maybe it is a good snuff for meditation or for praying but i dont know as i dont use snuff for spiritual purposes.

Janta Dragon Madras is super strong and with a great tobacco aroma. Its one of the best snuffs imo. Top snuff.

Janta White Horse White is an awesome white snuff very natural almost nutty flavor and a noticable nicotine kick.

I want to try Janta White Horse Gul next as i ve read has a more tobaccoey aroma.

I am gonna use them guls nasally (planning to get white horse and cheeta gul for my next order).

I would love to see a Plain Black snuff from Janta.

Like the Red Label Black but without the insence/ church scent and without the menthol.

Or at least a Plain Black with some menthol but no other scent at all.

Janta is a great brand for sure!

Hello ALLex
Thank you for such a nice review of our products, we will surely keep in mind about perfumes in Red Label Black.

If you like our WHW, you will also probably like our White Horse Gul. Must give pinch!

All the feedbacks are valuable to us.

@indiansnuffjnf

I like WHW a lot! Is it toasted? I cant figure if it is a toast or a natural.

I will definitely try the White Horse Gul !

WHW is natural while White Horse Gul is a mixture of toast and natural both.

I’ll go ahead and ask a dumb question- how do you use creamy tobacco?

@Deez you take your Finger or a tooth brush and rub it over your teeth and the gum

The creamy snuff is tasty, and potent IMO.

Re-tried Janta Red Label Black that i first didnt like

and i have to say it is a very good indian black snuff!

I now love it, its very different from european snuffs i am used to.

very complex aromas and a different menthol (or mint?) hit with good nicotine.

Back when i first tried it my uneducated nose could only smell some church type of incense scent but now i can really appreciate the complex floral/ incense and musky aromas.

Its nothing like the church smell at all and i clearly misjudged it a first.

The menthol hit is unlike any european medicated snuff.

It is very good and Janta Red Label Black is my first Indian black snuff.

Nowadays i use it pretty much everyday.

I have to order some more for sure.

I love the perfumes in Indian black snuffs. It’s not for everyone but they’re one of my favorite. Also, the Gul snuff have tendu leaf ash, right? I googled about gul and found that information.

Just wanted to chime in that I received the non-menthol version of this from JNF. While it’s advertised as 10g and it’s only 8g, I’m not bothered at all because they are now using screw top metal tins!! Awesome! I love these tins. If you’ve used the 30g 6 photo snuffs, you know which tins I mean. This Janta Crystal still came in the little plastic tub, though. Which makes a mess!

Love your use of the screw top metal tins!! Only seen it in one product so far, the Pansari non-tobacco Chhikni but you should use them in all products. Even if the prices go up slightly to cover them. They are much easier to use, keep snuff fresher and don’t open up in my pocket accidentally. Also are reusable for decanting.
