lstridsberg, a lot of companies in the Denver/Boulder area give free "Eco-Passes"to their employees to take public trans for free.
Good to know, thanks Carol. Definitely we’re planning to turn over a new leaf and be more friendly to both the earth and our bodies. We visited the area last year and got some stern looks when throwing away plastic or glass, etc. (No recycling program in my city…will have to break some bad habits) In addition I’ve put on a nice little gut which I plan to dispense with while tooling around town on a bicycle. I’m very excited about living in such a bike friendly town.
Bike friendly? yea good luck with that. the bikes hog the road, and the cars aim AT them. Gov. Ritter was hit last year, with broken ribs, collar bone…if you want to bike, you need to go to boulder. and the cigar shop i was talking about is Edward’s Pipe and Tobacco.
BTW, what’s the chances of you bringing a trunk load of Americans up here? I’d gladly pay for the effort. Hmmmm. Sounds like I’m trying to smuggle people to Canada or something.
Well, coming from this town just about anything is an improvement. We have a single 5 mile stretch of decent paved path by the river and that’s it! I’m not one of the obnoxious, road hogging riders either. I’m quite terrified of 2 ton projectiles.
