It’s “Snuffhouse” not “Scrupleshouse” so I won’t belabour the point. I believe that honourably stating “I think that there’s a mistake here, would you check?” would absolve me from blame in a similar situation. It wasn’t meant to scold, but I’ve been hearing so much lately from those I work with about pirating satellite signals, sharing pirated software and all the other dodges, but it’s supposed to be ok because those are big companies. Bleh.
Quite a good deal, Kjoerup. Not simple theft… simple awesomeness. Having some moron ring up a product wrong at a supermarket and pirated software are a tad bit different, but only a tad.
i was in the supermarket the other day at the meat counter i like to buy a chicken kiev usually runs about 3 or 4 dollars asked for one. the counterguy wraps it up i look at the price it was about 7 dollars i said to the counterguy 7 dollars no way … so he weighs it in his hand says yep thats over a lb … i said no way man put it on the machine again turns out i was right came to about 4 dollars … so just saying it works both ways
They’ll screw you over as fast as they can. Supermarkets stopped giving a damn about customers loooooong ago.
Seriously no one knows what the price was supposed to be. Maybe they were sent the wrong size charged the price for the smaller and told to just keep them, and they kept the regular price. Shit like that really happens a lot at supermarkets.
Yes it does. We used to have to sell it for what it rang up as.
At the supermarket I work at if a price rings up higher than the sticker price or shelf price then the customer gets one of that item for free.
Sounds like a Hy-Vee policy.
